Went back and looked....here's his last 5 mocks 2021: Jaycee Horn 2020: Derrick Brown 2019: Brian Burns 2018: Ronnie Harrison - mentioned the Panthers were in the market for a receiver but had DJ Moore and Ridley off the board by the Panthers pick 2017: Dalvin Cook - mentioned that the Panthers were searching for a 3 down back but had the wrong one So he obviously knows someone in there, and not just from the Hurney/Rivera regime

I really wanted Trey Smith with the Fletcher pick. Team must have medically removed him from the board

I doubt that. If Darnold is bad then we are in prime position for a top 5 pick. And every year there are QB's that come out of nowhere. I mean we had pick #3 in our grasp before winning a meaningless game against WFT. As far as "banking on Darnold"....I think it was more that the Panthers didn't want to take the 4th or 5th best QB with the 8th overall pick, which is absurd and I'm glad they didn't do that

If if's and buts were candies and nuts. What if Darnold plays better in Carolina? Is it "a good look" for the franchise? Do you know how many times a team has passed on a QB and they ended up sucking? Or traded up for one and they ended up sucking? It goes both ways. Just because the Panthers passed on Fields doesn't mean the franchise is in bad shape. Like what are you talking about?

This is like the 10th poster recently that is OBSESSED with the 2021 draft QB's and act like there is no other possibility in the next decade to get a franchise QB if we didn't take one in THIS draft Darnold ain't that much different than Jones or Fields fam. And if he doesn't pan out we can take one next year. Or the year after. Or the year after. Or trade for one. You are spoiled that we got the #1 overall pick and hit on Cam, and you act like every QB we draft in the 1st after is a homerun. It ain't.

I'd rather have Marshall and Christensen than Liam Eichenberg and the 3rd round receivers, not sad at all about the other tackles that went (mostly RT's) I would have been on board trading down in the 1st to pick up an extra 2nd and would rather have had Fairley and Moehrig over just Horn, but that's whatever. Still think LT is a need and Christensen will be a great LG

Meanwhile I got laughed at for suggesting that Charlie Campbell at Walterfootball is still the best mock drafter and he got the first 8 picks correct including being on the "Jaycee Horn to Carolina" train ever since they traded for Darnold

We got 11 picks, and I feel confident that at least 6 will be great additions to our team going forward

Never, ever draft for need in the top 10. Take BPA unless you already have a QB Also our CB group was statistically the worst position group on the team in 2020

Why not just take a chance on a player that fell like Gowan or Trey Smith How often do long snappers mess up to warrant a draft pick

For someone who probably has zero idea who any of these players in the draft are, you are taking this way too seriously. This is special teams terrority of the draft not find a starter territory

First pick I don't like because of the talent on the board, but he looks to be a big fast special teamer

Love our draft and we still have FIVE picks left

Teams also targeted Horn way, way less than the other two

I still think he's our starting LG and we bring in one of the three older LT's.... Villanueva, Okung, or Wagner

They must really dislike our depth/special teams talent and want to replace a lot of it

They are favorites to be the worst team

We are not set at WR. What are you smoking. We need talent at every position but RB

There's a chance both DJ Moore and Anderson are gone after this season, and a great chance one of them is gone. Need weapons. Took a player we could have easily just taken at 39 and got two 3rds out of it too. Great pick.
