  1. My god the panthers screwed a damned fog in thar draft i freaking new it
  2. No living in Bryce's shadow today for cj good luck cj i doubt the panthers will see the playoffs anytime soon
  3. Eagles assistant GM Alec Halaby interviewed for the Panthers’ GM job today, per league source. Panthers have been posting their head coach interviews on their website, not so with the GM candidates. joe person

  6. No one is saying that those things are needed for ANY pro qb, including those not named Bryce young my concern is he has clear limitations. If a pro line is in front of him, it doesn’t need to be tailored for him, it needs to be tailored for the offensive system he simply needs to execute it i would say to you as well a pro line and receivers don’t like carrying a bad qb I don’t get why people don’t understand that either
  7. Commanders got a good one look for Ben Johnson to go there. Number 2 pick in the draft cap space and apparently, the owner isn’t a nut case
  8. He is also into power running which this oline currently fits he is one of two that fits that mode I love the Ravens….hit you in the mouth on both sides of the ball …of course, young is no Lamar Jackson either …so there is that
  9. I think they better figure out if Bryce is worth building around first I’m not sure they know the answer …he needs to start seeing the field…particularly the middle. …regardless of the QB, build and backfill that line and have high quality depth and get decent wide receivers honest to god, the panthers are terrible at drafting WRs…get one in free agency
  10. Talent, Players. Heart, a tactical to strategic plan … an identity … a decent owner who understands the sequence, locker room chemistry and community value The Nfl is about stars and excitement The panthers have neither when you say KC, who do you think of…Buffalo…Houston (had to throw that in) the Panthers have a pro team that cannot score. ….even peewee leagues can score a TD now and again
  11. Mayo was the hot name last year no surprise at all i felt strongly he would be the hire as for Vrabel, solid coach….time well tell where he lands and I’ll be the first to say, the Panthers are soft…very very soft the panthers could do worse than hiring him
  12. ….and….this would be a bad thing…. Smile
  13. I like him despite all adversity, and with a scheme change, his unit almost always made chicken salad from chicken poo not many in the Panthers org have done that over the years He couldnt continuously cover for that putrid offense
  14. I like Vrabel Not sure why he’d want to deal with Tepper and, ahem, another qb situation
  15. One name that is interesting that is not there is Kellen Moore of course when he left Dallas their O got better and San Diego’s O got worse with his arrival but he was a 2 interview guy with ole Dave last year ti be very honest, I look at that Ravens defense and say ‘come in down ‘ I do not see the lions or Texans OC leaving what they have for this dumpster fire most likely the Bucs or bengals OC. I believe I read the Dolphins guy doesn’t call plays
  16. I agree with this I felt like Fitterer thought, really thought, he was getting Russell Wilson 2.0 …a better version in his mind
  17. Could be but lets hope for the best we southerners know the truth of ‘even a blind squirrel finds an acorn now and again’
  18. Yes but it is a lengthy article and with copyright didn’t want to pull it all It talked about Morgan too but not necessarily as THE GM it mentioned Bellinchek …just found the KC connection a good one hey, at least they are winners. Go there or the 49ers or Detroit or Ravens
  19. Yeah. I waited too long this season i have one season left…god help me
  20. Will Scott Fitterer be back? The feeling around the league is that Tepper will be hiring replacements for both Frank Reich and Fitterer, the former Seattle Seahawks personnel executive who succeeded Marty Hurney in 2021. The Panthers have gone 14-37 since Fitterer arrived, a .275 winning percentage that is the NFL’s lowest over that span. Matt Rhule had final roster say during Fitterer’s first two years, so it was tough to say exactly who was calling the shots. But Fitterer had no impediments this year, when he failed to surround Young with enough playmakers or build adequate depth along the offensive line. Tepper has fired a lot of coaches — football and soccer — and team officials over his six seasons as owner. But he’s never cleaned house and hired a head coach and GM at the same time. That streak could be ending. Who gets the job, if it’s available? Assistant general manager Dan Morgan, who’s close with Fitterer and worked with him in Seattle, seems to have positioned himself to hold a key role during any transition period. That doesn’t necessarily mean Morgan will be promoted to GM, but he could be considered. Tepper interviewed 15 candidates before Fitterer was hired, several of whom have since become GMs elsewhere. One candidate from 2021 to keep an eye on is Kansas CityChiefs vice president of football operations Brandt Tilis, who has a background in analytics (of importance to Tepper), salary-cap management and roster strategy.
  21. Past…3 or 4 years years, right…failed since Tom left Didn’t even prepare for Tom’s departure bad draft choices too but you know Tepper..,plus he’d bring O’Brien for his son Bryce
