Jonathan Jones looks at Tepper and Wilks

He was a minority owner of the Steelers for years. If he didn't take notes and learn while there, he won't learn on his own. -

It's not the NFL, but there was also the guy the Hornets were going to hire as coach that backed out after getting the job and staying as a Golden State assistant instead. The Hornets settled on repeating the Steve Clifford show. -

I don't think Tepper cares about winning as much as he has claimed. This is a guy that said the NFL was designed to be a .500 league when it has always been a league of haves and have nots. That's not the sort of thing I guy that wants to win should say. It sounds like the sort of thing a guy that is fine with hovering around .500 every year so he keeps making money off the team says. -

Disagree. I've never seen anyone but some fans say nobody will take a coaching job, but I have seen it said better coaches will not take certain jobs. Also, just because a team says they got their top 1 or 2 choice, doesn't make that true. Do you really expect them to say all the good coaches refused to take the job so we had to settle for this guy? -
The is on.

Peyton Manning on Will Levis and the Panthers
jayboogieman replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
No he didn't. They were talking about today's NC State game and he said Leary is who the Panthers should draft. -
The only one I would consider is Lincoln Riley and there's no way he's leaving the west coast and that sweet deal so soon.

Yeah, that was a message up situation. There were also shootings this week in New Bern and Greenville. New Bern had 4-55 victims in a single house with no suspects at this time while Greenville's was a teen that killed someone. The teen was caught by a patrol that was in the area and saw him running away.

lol I don't think the team wins this weekend, but think the defense at least will look better. The offense still has the same clown and his playbook running things, so...yeah.

I would be shocked if the Panthers haven't fielded calls for just about every player on the roster, much less CMC. Remember that Mr "in on every deal" is the team's GM. For everyone claiming CMC is worth 2 firsts or a first and second and that he's the best RB in the NFL, take off the homer glasses. The reality is that CMC is an oft injured RB that hasn't played a full season since 2019 nor has he had over 500 yards rushing or receiving since then. If another team was wanting what you guys want for CMC for a different player with CMC's injury history and stats, you would be talking crap about how stupid that team's GM is. The truth is that CMC is simply not worth a first round pick at this stage and the team would be lucky to get a second for him.

Thor is a ball hog, especially with these end of bench guys in.
-
That's the cliff coached Hornets. Get beat down hard by better teams and look okish against teams with similar talent levels.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised the games have been on Bally other than the one game. That said, I really haven't watched.

If I was Rhule I would be laughing all the way to the bank.
-
I was wrong.
-
Rehabbing player brains for years to come is going to happen regardless of when Rhule gets canned unless the GM cuts or trades them all.

Most Panther fans right now: Tepper: -
The casting of some of the aged roles is laughable. For example in tonight's show, the one eyed prince looks older than the guy that is supposed to be his older brother. How some of the other characters don't look like they've aged a day despite the series jumping years between each episode is just as sad. That said, they've done an excellent job of aging and wasting away the king. He must have gotten most of the SFX budget.
