  1. Even if we beat them I don’t think they’re eliminated. We need to string together back to back wins to get in and I struggle seeing that happening with how bipolar we are. With how dominant we were last week, history says we will poo the bed this week.
  2. I live in Colorado, so I have had the Sunday ticket app forever. You used to be required to have Direct TV in order to get it UNLESS you had a place that the HOA or landlord did not allow satellites. I would have rather been forced to dig my eyeballs out with a spork than have that shitty Direct TV service again. Used an old address that didn't allow satellites and have been able to run with it since 2017 with no issues. Now onto the actual service - fug DIRECT TV. Their app is garbage and unreliable. I would LOVE to have the option to just pay for the Panthers, but greedy people gonna be greedy. The service through Youtube TV or Amazon will be far superior and make the viewing experience a million times better for anyone who lives out of state. TLDR: Direct TV is ass chum and needs to be taken out to the pasture like old yeller. Next year will be so much better for everyone when it comes to watching games out of market.
  3. You're delusional, but such is your right. Brian Burns? The one we should've traded for the Rams 2nd this year and following two 1st's? DJ Moore? The one we should've traded for the Packers 1st this year? You seem to drink the juice everyone spews about them because they are our players that we drafted. Reddick was 10x the DE Burns is and DJ still isn't a bonafide #1, never will be. Based on your mentality you only view things in the present and are incapable of expanding your view to understand how we are in no position to compete this year and any more wins 1000% affects our ability to rebuild properly in the future. Everyone wants to sit on their soapbox preaching this week after a meaningless win, but wait til we come crashing back to earth next week. I'll make sure to remind you of this then and next season when we aren't in a position to compete yet again.
  4. Sure thing, guy. I don't see why a "mature football fan" doesn't grasp how winning these meaningless games are detrimental to the team in the long run.
  5. That's exactly what I thought as well. He passed the eye test these last two weeks (I will also admit that it was the only time I've seen him play), and looked head and shoulders above Will Levis. I don't know what to think about him fully, but I was very impressed with him.
  6. You think Foreman is in the same ball park as Jacobs? You think Sam is in the same tier as Carr? Share whatever you’re smoking with the rest of us
  7. Not gonna happen. SEA is gonna smoke us.
  8. There is no fuging chance we make the playoffs. Come down from the high Sam gave you today and let’s get grounded back in reality. let’s pretend in Sam world that we did. We would be the easiest round 1 exit since the last time we faced the Cowboys in round 1.
  9. Anyone else catch the Ten and Clemson games in the last 2 weeks? I know he slipped big time and was looking like someone to avoid for a while there, but he played his ass off the last two weeks and passed the eye test for me. Thanks to another “moral victory”, he would be available in the range we sit at without having to trade the farm away. I went from “absolutely not” to “well… maaaaybe” recently. Thoughts?
  10. Completely agree with you. Everyone here praising Sam and happy with the win will be singing a very, VERY different tune come next season when Sam is still our QB bc of a few meaningless wins with a projected .500 season (at best). We can’t even lose right. This season was over before it began and nobody seems to fully grasp that.
  11. I think we are in a weird spot where the rules implemented over the last decade that so heavily favor the offense are starting to create a very bad situation for teams that don’t have one of the top 5 QBs. There used to be the ability to have a winning season and deep playoff run with middle of the road QB and dominant D, but now you literally can’t sneeze on a QB without a penalty. Just my opinion, but I think this is what’s causing 75% of the league to look like poo this year.
  12. I blame us more than DJ. We convinced ourselves he's in the same echelon as a Davante Adams, or Justin Jefferson but he "just needs the right qb" just because he's our draft pick. I've never thought he was #1 and I'll die on that hill. Those guys make magic happen out of nothing (at times), and can completely take over a game even when everyone knows they are going to get the ball. Not once has DJ taken over a game. The catch in Atlanta was his only shining moment that I can recall and that's probably because theres been very little shining moments here the last few years. Should have dumped him for that #1, freed ourselves of that contract, and basically got a mulligan on our wr position this draft.
  13. Yet, we turned down GB’s 1st round pick for him. Trash organization makes trash decisions.
  14. If we consider Moore and Burns “cornerstone players” that shows how delusional everyone involved in player personnel decisions are. Until we get that fixed too we will always hover in the .500 range or worse.
  15. The problem is we will end up taking a deal for half of what we were offered at that point. We had them bent over the table with no lube on that offer. By missing out on that once in a lifetime haul for an average player now we can’t get rid of him for anything less now. It was the perfect meeting of desperation and over-valuation, and we missed the boat. Classic Panthers move. New regime, same poo.
  16. I might be wrong here, but didn't we also draft him around the time we were toying with the idea of switching to a 3-4??
  17. Been saying this since last year. He’s going to mess his career up by not getting with a team that’s running a 3-4. He’s not cut out for the Peppers/Rucker role we want him to be.
  18. We dooooooont waaaaaaaant toooooo wiiiiiin anoooother gaaaaaaaame thiiiiiis yeaaaaar
  19. Right? Nobody wants to take off their fandom glasses and see things for what it really is until losses like this happen and then they will go back to saying how glad they are to have Brown still when he gets another gimme sack in a meaningless game.
