  1. If you want to be peeved over the OL woes, by all means, it's an issue. The one area that we thought was safe and secure has looked awful thus far. Campen not being a new coach and most of the OL intact only makes it stand out more. Outside of that, I'm not concerned. 90% new staff, several veteran coaches combined with young, aspiring coaches, a completely overhauled starting offensive personnel group, transitioning from a 43 to a 34 base, lots of new faces on both sides of the ball and a rookie QB at the helm. Yes, we've looked bad through two games, but there needs to be a bit more patience. Especially when a veteran HC says they've purposely run a stripped down version of their gameplan so far. Nothing wrong with being concerned, but some folks need to step off the ledge. I also think some fans thought we were going to walk out there and win the NFCS without any adversity or challenges early on. Manage expectations folks. Rome wasn't built in a day and we overturned the dumpster fire that Rhule left behind quite a bit so far. It's going to take at least another offseason to wash that stink off, get Bryce the weapons and protection he needs and give Burns and Brown some support up front.
  2. Cut Jordan. Sign Risner. Protect BY.
  3. A combination of a few things.... Tremble (?) didn't come back to the ball and just flattened his route which made it easy for Echols to swoop underneath. CB watched QB the whole way and great focus to reel it in. Bryce didn't put a ton of zip on it and it doesn't look like he helped himself at all by zeroing in on the TE the whole way.
  4. Love it for '23 and helps bring a vet to the locker room that can help the younger guys learn the position from an All-Pro. He won't be our every down backer but will add a new wrinkle to Evero's D. DJ, and Barno are probably a year away still. Take the pressure off them and YGM for this year and let them be Houston's shadow all year.
  5. I'm neither of those people but thanks for generalizing. I know I'm going to the Seattle game this year which is an early game and had to represent for Bryce. Also, the last "expensive" jersey I bought was a Kuechly about 7-8 years ago so I figured it was time to treat myself to a new jersey.
  6. I got the $300 Bryce joint in process blue and it's beautiful. The blue def pops more than in the past, IMO. I didn't realize there would be another option but pretty happy with mine except for one HUGE thing I was unaware of.... the sleeves. Caveat emptor for those that aren't used to seeing this. It fits great but a little tight around the upper arm area which is something I'm not used to. It's like a waistband or ankle elastic on sweatpants feel to it. I'm sure it's meant to mimic the field version where they want as little material dragging them down. Not so much for a casual fan on Sundays from the 50-yard line of my couch.
  7. Refresh my memory....Leota was an UDFA from the draft, not an actual FA signing, right?
  8. Does anyone have Verizon home internet as their provider? I'm in the PNW and have a bundle with local TV + internet from Xfinity. Might be worth the switch if prices and speeds are comparable. Am I understanding it correctly that a Verizon home internet plan would make me eligible for free Sunday Ticket?
  9. Especially with a QB that has the IQ to find mismatches and open receivers. BY is going to be dealing this year....lots of options to select from.
  10. I'm sure this has already been suggested, but outside of the cost to re-do the field back to natural grass, could we not put a turf surface down for bigger events over the grass? If Tepper's concern was destroying the field for the quantity of live events, couldn't they do the reverse of what they're doing?
  11. Real talk....who is the "other guy". I know he's Smity co-host, but I've never seen him say anything worth a $hit. He always seems in over his head. Does he have a history or past that merited being paired up with Smitty.....I'm not seeing it. I do like this piece though. Great insight from 2/3 of the podcast.
  12. Sorry for the double reply. Not trying to spam up the thread….can’t delete/edit to remove this. Mods feel free to delete this post. I posted in the uniform thread instead.
  13. Didn’t want to start its own thread, but curious about Panthers jerseys. is this the updated Process Blue authentic for sale? Also, do we think this will be the jersey for the next couple of years? Even if it’s until ‘25…would hate for them to update it next year after dropping 3 bills on this.

  15. Could this not be what the plan would be for us with that hella big proposal of $1.2B in renovations to BoA? Something like this would be ideal for us. No dome, but protection from the brutal sun in September and October. Change the field back to grass and boom, there you go.
  16. Akhello Witherspoon, Marcus Peters and Kyle Fuller are the "name" CBs on the market. IIRC, all are recovering from injuries last year. Witherspoon probably has the most left in the tank having turned 28 in March. Also has that lanky 6'2" frame that is desirable at CB. Rowe is probably the default guy as of now to step in as far as what's on the roster.
  17. Damn....Floyd was the one I hoped we'd sign. Yannick makes sense from a history with Reich and Wash, but doesn't seem like the type of EDGE we're looking to sign. Replicates what Burns does quite a bit.
  18. Does the public/local gov't get any ROI when the public funds part of it? Any returns from the gate/concessions/ownership revenue that is collected over the years since the locals are footing part of the bill? Seems rather "scammy" if the public funds part of it, yet the owners/shareholders reap the profits without reallocating it back to the folks that helped build it.
  19. Cap space, within reason, is irrelevant, so it's not only the teams with space that can sign him. If Buffalo or KC wants him and they view him as the missing piece, there's ways to make it happen. Anyone that watched our offseason should know this after watching Suleiman work his magic. I wonder, though a talented WR that I normally would love to have, would we bring him in and take reps away from guys like Chark, TMJ and Mingo. We're building a long-term contender....I wonder how Nuk would disrupt or delay the youngsters getting reps.
  20. I'm leaning into positive intent for all thoughts on TMJ's production based off two sub-par OCs and a QB carosuel of garbage players during his first two years. I think a full healthy year with more weapons that opposing defenses have to accomodate, and a bevy of talented coaches helping him out should yield solid WR2 numbers. Kid was drafted at 20 years old and his LSU tape looked damn good in a crowded WR room with Jefferson and Chase.
  21. Damn....let's polish this kid's skills and let him loose.
  22. I think the heavy focus is on TMJ and I do think he will emerge as our future WR2. Tremble, as OP posted has potential to thrive. Having an OC like Brown that has former experience with TEs is huge. Tremble's youth and known that he was a project when drafted gives me hope. I also think this is why we held off on drafting one in such a loaded class.
  23. @ the Hawks should be week 3....maybe week 9, and the bye after the 3-game roadie in week 15.
  24. New Bills' stadium is $1.2B, Vegas' was $1.9B and the rumored Soldier Field renovation is at $2.2B. If we're getting a new stadium, I'm guessing it will approach $3B. I'd prefer a new stadium, but if we can renovate our stadium to offer a bit more shielding from the elements (sun/rain), have a natural field option and modernize the look, I'm for it. It is hard to swallow the cost when you have one of the richest owners in the league asking for money....especially after two failed projects in Charlotte. The dynamic of taxpayers assisting in the cost, yet the Owners reap all the profits is baffling. Unless I'm missing something and the city/county/state does get ROI.
