The chargers ownership has made a number of bad decisions. Getting Belichick wouldn't even crack their top five bad decisions.

If BB goes somewhere, it will be a place like the Chargers. A team with a qb, some talent, in need of a proven winner.

Fwis, if Belichick was going to go to another NFL team, the Chargers would be a better spot. Already have the QB, they just need a few tweaks and the right staff.

Can't help but wonder if that is part of the reason that Young isn't on the bench. If Dalton comes in and the offense starts clicking, it makes Bryce seem even worse.

But the processing thing is fairly common with rookies and can be worked on. If that is the only issue that Bryce has, then we might be ok. Unfortunately, that might not be the only problem. Bryce consistently overthrowing the deep balls or being off target is a bigger problem. Poor footwork and a slow release could also be issues that are harder to fix.

Well, in fairness, the fan base doesn't know any more than the experts do. Although, it sometimes seems as if they don't know any less either. Picking a player, especially a qb, is a crap shoot, of that there is no doubt. Just look at the draft with Trevor Lawrence. It was touted to be one of the better draft classes for qb's. Lawrence is decent, maybe good with a great team around him. But the rest of them seem to be wasted picks.

Wasn't DJ Moore also a Hurney pick.

Yeah, our cap space for 2024 is about the only positive right now.

The big teams (Yankees, Braves, Dodgers etc...) carry the other teams. The Dodgers average almost 50,000 a game over 81 games and gets 40 bucks or more per ticket. Oakland averages about 10,000.

Ironically, the defense got worse but the offense got better last year under Wilkes.

I would be very tempted to run a draw play here.

That would be nice, unfortunately, we are probably going to have to pay Burns a lot to keep him. Maybe less now than we might have over the past summer, but still a significant amount of money. Unless we can find a steal in the later rounds of the draft, getting a top DE is going to be extremely tough. We have a better shot at getting a solid guy opposite burns, have two good, but no great DE's.

Luvu, Brown, the secondary, Hubbard, Sanders, the fg kicker, and the offensive line (but only for run blocking) are having a good game today.
