The reason those trades cost so much draft capital was because of the low cost of rookie deals. A young vet QB entering his prime will need to be paid accordingly and that factors in to the price a team will pay to acquire him. Houston can not use him, his off field issues and salary all impact what the Texans get. Any price you hear in the media is probably the Texans trying to drive up the price or start a bid war.

Beating the giants won’t make me feel any better. No problems have been fixed. At this point even winning is losing.

We coulda won 03 if the Pats didn’t cheat. Coulda went back in 04 if Smitty didn’t go down week 1. Coulda won 05 if we had our top RB for the NFCCG. We coulda been a dynasty. Except we didn’t, and we ain’t.

Find 1 coach in the NFL that would argue that this game doesn’t start up front. This line does not have the talent to compete at this level. Worst offensive line I’ve ever seen. Can’t win with that.

Article said he would practice with the team this week. They have 3 weeks to activate or shut down for the rest of the season.

John Fox could actually coach a game. Give him a good roster and he’ll produce. His style was of a time gone by. He would play a vet over a first or second year player 10/10 times and twice on sundays. Saddled with Hurney drafts, Richardson’s meddling, and a punt being a good play, it’s a wonder Fox achieved what he did. And that…sadly… is our best Head Coach of the last 25 years. I feel gross for having to say it.

Paying for nothing is what we’ve already been doing. No additional pain here. At least the boil will have been lanced. The infection can drain slowly if need be.

They would never shut it down, and they can’t fix it. We’re looking at holding this turd barehanded for the next 11 weeks.
