Darnold Fractured Scapula on throwing shoulder
TheCasillas replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
lol this thread. QBs play injured regularly in the NFL. Blaming the coaches for playing an injured QB.. as if this is something that is not regularly done in the NFL. 2018 - Aaron Rodgers Sprained MCL and Fractured Knee 2020 - Tom Brady torn MCL through the entire season 2020- Drew Brees fractured ribs 2021- Wentz two sprained ankle and a fractured foot 2021 - Tua playing with fractured ribs 2021 - Baker Mayfield shoulder tear This didnt even take more than 60seconds to dig up. I know I'm missing a bunch. This is normal. It's not like the coaching staff is holding a gun to the kid's head and saying "play or die." If medical professionals are clearing these guys, and they elect to play... why would you blame the coaching staff? They aren't doctors and they damn for sure dont know these guy's bodies. This is what these players get paid millions of dollars to do. Play a violent sport every sunday for us keyboard warriors.- 182 replies

Not going ot defend OL or QB... but I will say Joe Brady has been pretty bad. He recycles his playbook and runs multiple plays twice per game. His run concepts are very vanilla, and a bad QB has nothing to do with that. Look at how many motion and misdirection pre-snap run plays the patriots did on us on Sunday. They were lining up two runningback and motioning one outside to pull shaq out of the box. They were running the slot reciever and TE for fake jet sweeps to get the NB running the wrong direction. Joe Brady hasnt shown a single sign of any creativity like this. Then lets take the Giants game as an example. Just as bad of a qb and o line. They were moving the pocket at the snap. Running away from the pass rush and getting jones time to throw. poo, on one play they brought an extra lineman in to come in motion to the right side to be an extra blocker for Daniel Jones as he rolled right (with his linemane) to setup a quick hit on the boundary line. These are microsamples of what Joe Brady just has not shown us. There is ayoutube video that was shared on this message board showing Joe Brady's receiver route trees are elementary. Some times we have 3 recievers all within 5 yards of each other. The OL has been mediocre, and QB play along with it.... but JB has just been outright bad.

Watch this team go out and beat the Cardinals on Sunday

Arizona is really hurt right now as well. Not saying we win, but lacking depth due to injury makes it tough to win games. -
the guy ran the same play twice 3 different times today.... ive never seen such a small playbook.

Official Patriots at Panthers GameDay Thread
TheCasillas replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
watching how much pre snap motion and different types of formations the Pats ran ... tells me that Joe Brady is the one in over his head. As much as we want to kick Rhule in the ass... its not our defense losing ball games for us, and it is not our special teams. Our offense is predictable and can establish zero rhythym. I expect us to move on from Brady in the off season or bring an offensive consultant. -

It’s probably more like they don’t trust an undrafted center and daley at left tackle…. -

Is Juston Burris playing today? -
CMC just got activated and Sam cleared the protocols.
TheCasillas replied to Cdparr7's topic in Carolina Panthers
Lol. They drafted a running back in the fourth round and wavered a power back from Denver. They did have a backup plan for CMC potentially missing time. Matter of fact, it’s the one position you can say we absolutely prepared as if we knew CMC could get hurt. -
your mad that he wants to be a super bowl winning franchise?

Talk to me about the Patriots, what do you know?

Does anyone know what time the press conference is today for the injury update? -
oh I dont want him. This thread is just a catch all and he was discussed to be traded in this thread yesterday.

Elfein can play both guard spots. We dont have to move Jordan. We can just put Elfein on the right. Scott did great in the run game, but was no bueno in passing. Just sharing that its a good sign to get our depth back.
-
The fact we are getting Elfein, Hartsfield, and Burris back is HUGE. For those who are down on Elfein, he is still the best guard on this roster (I know that doesnt say much) but an impovement, is an improvement.

Sounds like Odell Beckham is about to be released
-
im willing to bet he has less than 15 touches from hand offs.

I am going to agree with OP. You'd have the think that Rhule will have PJ on a shortleash. Especially with how much he has emphasized protecting the ball this weekend.

I thought we were trying to avoid turning the ball over....

There is one confirmed casualty, if alcohol/drugs are involved... he could be looking at jail time. Raiders need another speed threat? I think we got one
