    Yeah, I don't think that this is a crucial position, but just the fact that they keep fishing in that same pond is a problem. And fishing from that same pond won't help. It's a waste of resources and convolutes things further.

    It shows that they are still looking in the wrong places for answers and that they are still fundamentally flawed in their management of the team.

    It's not about athleticism. It's about experience at the pro level. It matters and he doesn't have it.

    I have no problem with doing this. The choice of hire is the issue. It isn't a former pro linebacker. It's a guy who maxed out in college. It's another coach at a pro level without pro experience. We should have learned our lesson.

    He probably also wants to play with a team that wins. Better culture to be in. If you can pick and choose who to play with and it's all just business and you're near the end of your career, you go where it's going to be the most fun. Losing isn't fun.

    Yep. Nothing since that moment has done anything vto tell a different story and there is absolutely no reason to think that it will be anything but worse next year. I mean who is taking less steps to get better than we are? Nobody.

    Yeah, think they kind of oversold the situation a bit. Confidence was REALLY high at the time. We were sure we were a playoff team. Then the curtain was pulled back and we found there was a little green munchkin just pulling random levers. No one wants to be a part of that unless they are absolutely desperate.

    Yep. We are in a hole. Trading for anyone only makes it deeper. Trading for Watson turns that hole into a grave. It will take years to recover from it.

    Lol no. I mean for like 40 seconds after we got him then reality hit. Just doesn't seem like we had a chance...with him or without him. Would have been nice if we didn't suck at everything else. Just makes me miss that year we had Peanut. Thought that maybe it was going to be something like that. Oh well.
