  1. breaking is a poor choice of wording here.
  2. As you've demonstrated. People just close their mind and think that just because he doesn't fit into some neat little box that keeps a lid on him and his personality, he's a problem for the team that needs contained and put in his place.
  3. Sorry but that's a pretty crappy read on Reddick's comments deserving of the poo that's being piled on.
  4. Ron was always a crap game manager. And he just manhandled Rhule. Just one of many demoralizing losses. I just don't know how much I can take.
  5. Nothing good can come from this thread
  6. it was a good idea. just not the best situation to be put into. like david carr. he could have been rehabilitated...if he had time to recover and rebuild after houston. he was supposed to sit behind jake for a year or two and then step in (still a gamble, but whatever). the two crucial things sam needed that he didn't have here was a competent OL and a mentor QB. we didn't really have control over carr having to step on the field earlier than he should have, but we had control over sam's situation here. we failed. we just need to move on. sam is on the same level with clausen and david carr. irreedemable.
  7. When things got tough, he got tougher. Until Tommy John, John Fox managing the 2008 playoff game vs the cards, and then Rip Scherer got in his head in 2009.
  8. He can be...as long as everything around him is perfect. He doesn't handle pressure very well. When things start to break down, he breaks down. When he's knocked down, he can't pick himself up. The biggest issue is confidence. He doesn't have it and he can't instill it in the people around him.
  9. i think it will be fine. it's one thing knowing hat we are going to do. it's another stopping it. you put Cam and CMC in there together and there's not much that can stop it...esp. if that OL is blocking like it did against a very good AZ defense and DJ/Robbie all of a sudden learning how to catch...it's pretty lethal. and PJ is good enough to move the chains in between Cam plays. i think it will work until Cam is ready to take the full load on, but even at that....if we can make it work with two QBs, why not let it work? If something works, no matter how unconventional it is, keep working it until it doesn't work anymore. if it's effective, keep doing it until it isn't effective anymore.
  10. That's one way to extend the life of Cams shoulder. It's not ideal, but it could work...for a while anyways. Part of me thinks it will make it harder for defenses to scheme against, but it could also make it easier depending on how it was done.
  11. WFT fans will just have to get shut up early and made to want to leave at half time.
  12. he's a swell guy, but i'll save the good feelings for post game. this week he's the enemy.
  13. https://linguaholic.com/linguablog/say-less/ What does “say less” mean? “Say less” is slang for “I understand” or “I get the gist of what you are saying.” You can also use it when you agree with someone and see eye to eye with them. In a sense, it’s a way of saying that no further explanation is needed.
  14. he was really good last year....not so much this year. punts just seemed lazy to me. new guy was doing much better. pretty easy decision.
  15. Better team. Better OL. Better receivers. Better coaching. Wasn't hated by refs. He had a better situation all around. And in case you didn't know, it takes more than a QB to win a ring. Russel is a better passer (though I've always thought a lot of his success just comes from luck), but Cam has a bigger overall impact. And yes, that is opinion...but so is all that poo you've been writing.
  16. *ballot Wouldn't surprise me. Would surprise me more if he wasn't. He doesn't have the records Cam has but 1 ring, 2 Superbowl appearances, 10 probowls, and all the other stuff he's done....yeah he's in. Not sure what that's got to do with Cam, though.
