  1. that's great. lots of people thinking that we're just throwing darts at a board blindfolded but i don't think that there's a guy we're taking that we aren't genuinely interested in. they collected a lot of picks because they really see something in a lot of guys. they did their work where a lot of teams didn't this year.
  2. yep. looking for some really aggressive man coverage going on. i'm sure there will be flags, but they won't be able to get a flag thrown every time we get handsy. they will play some zone, i'm sure, but it's pretty clear they want to be as aggressive as possible and they need to be considering who we've got to face. keith taylor wasn't just throwing poo at the wall. he's not just camp fodder. he's the type of player that we are obviously trying to move towards in the type of defense we're adopting.
  3. i don't know. seems like there is going to be pretty open competition for CB. The room doesn't have a whole lot of people in it.
  4. he was more the mouthy type of guy who kept saying "i'm going to rip your head off" but who ends up just doing a lot of talking. A LOT of talking.
  5. seems like we're going to be doing a lot of man coverage and backing way off the off-man poo. dude is tall, pretty fast (although probably not quick enough to handle fast and shifty slot guys). he's also really aggressive and a good wrap-up tackler. like horn, he's probably going to be getting a few flags, but i'm ok with that. better than allowing receptions and TDs. looks like a good option to have on the field with horn. https://www.bigblueview.com/2021/3/24/22326153/2021-nfl-draft-prospect-profile-keith-taylor-jr-cb-washington-scouting-report-ny-giants
  6. i can see all of these traits easily. the guy is a quick, relentless, and heavy hitting disruptor.
  7. @Zod, can you let @Jackofalltrades know when it's time to take over?
  8. keep pounding >>>>>>>>>>> rise up though (and i might get poo for this but whatev) it might be time to replace/move on from that phrase. fits a team with a bunch of old players that don't know when it might be time to stop.
  9. i love watching these team admin people trying hard to look like they have a personality when they make the pick announcements. too funny.
  10. thanks. it's frikking miserable. the pain i had before was really bad, but recovery from the surgery has been rough. the pain and level of discomfort post surgery has made me question if getting the surgery was a good idea. i'm not good at this whole one arm thing. i even had to relearn how to wipe my butt.
  11. yeah, ive been seeing more and more that he's very underrated in that regard. i hope he is, but i'm just excited about that bashing. would be great to have him be someone you could dish the ball off to. i'd work him hard with receiving coaches but also with the RBs. dude could be a short yardage monster.
  12. Thanks. I can get it pinned. I only have one arm that is working right now (recovering from shoulder surgery) so i'm not the most efficient at working a computer at the moment.
  13. And that's only if we don't aquire more. 7 more chances to trade back. Eventually we'll have to stop.
  14. We are thin for sure. This is how we fill the roster.
  15. Yep, and the higher the RAS score you can find to throw at the wall, the better chance it will stick. They are being selective about the poo they are flinging...but they are throwing a ton of poo.
  16. Lol I haven't even thought about this. When the udfa market opens up we are going to really dive in. There will still be some highly rated RAS scored players out there.
  17. The anger and loathing so many have for what fit is doing makes all this even more fun.
  18. Been a lot of that this weekend. Also a lot players with connections to the team already in the form of players or coaches.

  20. This is my favorite draft weekend ever.
