Is Bryce a #1 prospect if he didn’t go to Bama?

Would anyone else have been a #1 pick if they had gone to Alabama this year? -
there's probably some secret message with the number they were drafted too. that is pretty weird, though. nice catch.

alt accounts happen for various reasons. there's a couple i know of. the main thing is don't be a prick if you happen to have one. it's not encouraged and if someone makes several then i'll probably eventually ban all of them. of course it's good advice to not be a prick or a douchebag in here anyways. or anywhere for that matter, but i can't control what you do irl. in here, though, just don't. mainly alt accounts are made up by people who have been perma-banned for various things and can't take a hint. we find them though. sometimes we'll give them a little time after we figure out who they are (which is usually pretty soon after they create the account and start posting). we'll give people second and third, etc, chances....sometimes.

i bet they hire a ninja to take his place.

We are in the “everyone is lying” zone of pre-draft

Better than the hot takes and "reports" about Cam that came out before we drafted him.

As I'm watching more of him, I'm realizing that a lot of the reason he's got so much time to throw is because he's creating it. His situational awareness (defenders in the backfield, his receivers, and the defensive secondary) , his mobility and body control, and his ability to concentrate and process quickly...I think that's something that will buy him time and keep him upright.

I know and I know we all have concerns, but I've just started mentally preparing myself and started to accept that Young will be the pick. I still lean slightly towards Stroud as my favorite fit for what it seems we'll be doing, but I'm moving towards accepting Young as the pick.
-
I think most people pulling for Young would be ok with Stroud too. There's not really an anti-Stroud crowd. There is, though, a pretty strong and vocal anti-Young crowd. This is the one that I worry just a little bit for. To this crowd, I'll only say this. Be ready for Young to be the pick. Seriously, brace yourself. Line up a counselor. Do whatever you need, because it's incredibly likely that Young will be our franchise QB. All that said .....

there were a few in the gabbert and locker camps. yo gabba had the most support between the two of them, though. i know many draftniks thought that this was largely a cam vs. gabbert draft and many in that debate were pro-gabba. no one was doing the stuff that we thought Cam would be doing. we'd never seen a QB like him tbh. a QB either passed a lot or ran a lot and they typically only ran if they couldn't throw very well...at least that was the narrative most ran with. we saw Cam throw and run in college, but few thought that it would transfer to the pros the way it did. but there were others who wanted Marcel Dareus, too. i think he had the most clamoring of any non-Qb player that year.
-
the only time they ever showed up was when he had a bad game. if he had a big game you never heard a peep from them so they weren't around much for the first few years.

i don't think we're done in FA. holes/thin spots will be filled after the draft.

i think the texans probably have it narrowed down to 1 QB they will do anything for and if they can't get him, they'll go another direction. texans have a defensive minded coach so it shouldn't be a surprise that fixing the offense won't be as crucial in his mind as it would offensive coaches. -
those who are worried about his durability are always going to be worried about it. he could be playing for 7 years before he misses time and you'll hear them all say, "you see, i was right! i'm always right. you all should have listened to me!"
