will FAs want to come to Charlotte now?

Yep. We have the $ and we're not far off. We need a SG who can handle the ball and will shoot 3's (looking at you Hendo) and a bench that won't let the other team go on a 20-4 run.

Also, we got screwed at the end of the season. The Cats could have beaten (or at the very least kept it close in a long series against) any other team in the East. But, of course, we get screwed to get the Heat.

First of all, Melo isn't going anywhere near LA unless he's going to be a Laker next year. The Clippers don't have near the cap room to sign Melo.

Second of all, none of you are being halfway decently realistic in this topic. Oh wow, we can't beat the 2 time defending NBA champions while our best player is on one leg and can't defend anything. Apparently that means everyone sucks now and we're screwed.

Being in the playoffs this year shows 1st off how great of a coach Steve Clifford is and secondly how great of a star Big Al is. Just because we can't constantly compete well with the Heat, something very few teams can do, doesn't mean we're screwed. This is great experience for all of the young talent involved.

    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
