I really do worry about what we are doing to these guys and their personalities. The recruiting circuit and signing days they experience as 16-18 year olds is pretty sad. Now they all take gigantic loans and waltz out in designer suits with $200k worth of jewelry. Some of them will be out in 2 years.

 

I read one of the players bought his mother an Escalade. I understand why he did it, every young man dreams of being rich enough to take care of mama. I just wish he would get drafted and sign his contract first.

 

But that's just me. I don't own a credit card and my car was paid for in cash. Most Americans don't live that way.

I understand t3bow had religion for his hypes, how do they explain the Manziel hype. I guess it wasn't about religion after all. If not religion then what must it be? Ummm! Remember, all these new ideas by Roger Goodell, are just so he can say "hey look what I did as the new commissioner", to justify his $20 mil a year salary, desired legacy and tenure.
