I find it funny that the OP worded the title to leave out cam being the best 4th down qb to focus on 2nd downs. It's an obvious clickbait title.

It always seemed like we would call some stupid aggressive deep bomb on 2nd down after a failed run play.  It was probably just perception, but it felt like it.

I think we will average around 24-25 points per game this year which should be enough to win our share.

I think we played well most of the year once we got rolling but didn't know how to step up the intensity at playoff time. You see it in most sports, the teams that are perennial playoff teams just step on the gas and have another gear come playoff time.  That is what San Fran did to us, they just dominated the game on both sides of the field.  I don't think we fell apart we just didn't increase our intensity.  It was a very good learning experience for most of the team who had not been in the playoffs. Hopefully we can get back there again and we now know what it takes to win a playoff game.
