Chris Broussard: Hornets going to make a strong run at Stephenson.

Jordan said they hope to land an elite player. An elite player sure as poo isn't McRoberts. Bonnel's opinion doesn't mean shot. He needs to spend more time stuffing jelly doughnuts down his fat ass then trying to play gm.

i told you two kids to quit and you didn't so you get a couple days off. from now on i won't give you any warnings. i see you hijack threads with your little pissing match and you get another day off. i don't care who starts it.

if you make an alt to get back in here, i'll ban that too.

Thank you Rayzor.

I needed the time off.

P.S.

I don't make alt.

Bonnel saying Hornets not going after any big fish, main concerns are McRoberts and backup PG. Doesn't expect Parsons or Stephenson are really being looked at.

Looks like team is standing pat with team from last year and rookies.

I'm guessing MJ is fine with the 8th seed and another one and done in the first round next season?

Rick Bonnell is a tool. He hates being in Charlotte and covering the Hornets. He's a bigger pessimistic and troll than some morons on this board. He never says anything positive and is always downplaying the Hornets doing anything. He is always shooting down any rumors of the team doing something big. Anytime somebody asks him something on Twitter he gives the negative answer.

Screw Bonnell. Take whatever he says & prepare for the exact opposite. People always give Joe Person a hard time but I think Bonnell is much worse.

I hurt his feelings the other day. He gave someone on twitter the negative answer, so I reminded him that he's a reporter, so just tell me what someone else told you...who cares what you think?

He usually has something to say. That time, just *crickets*.

The team will improve with the normal growth of young players, more experience with Coach Clifford, and more experience with each other. Remember Al was hurt at the beginning of the season and all the starter miss time before they could build chemistry at the end of the season.

PJ can still drop points as a backup to Stephenson.  If anything, he'll be going up against other teams' second units and could dominate even more.  Having a great SG starter with a potential star rookie backing him up is NOT a bad problem to have.  Bring him in to rest MKG also depending on the situation.

PJ cannot generate his own shot (ie. driving to the basket) as well as Stephenson right now and he does not pass as well. PJ needs to come off the bench if we can help it. Don't need to put too much on a rookie.

    • Yeah. That start to his career was about as bad as it can get. In New York, Meat grinder press corps, of the first degree,    When he came here he was on OC 3 - in year 3.  And people in this fan base that think they are smart, could not take that stuff into account.  Now, most of the smart ones are not Bryce Stans but Bryce gets 4 damned years free pass. At least 3  The fail of the organization AND fan base in general, fuging shamefully short sighted,  And the choking thing, players have to fail before they succeed. With very few exceptions. Last year was really his first meaningful, high stakes game. Okay, he didn’t play well. They learn from that, or are supposed to. You don’t throw out a guy with all those tools and with his rocky did him no favors background for not being perfect right away.  He might suck in the SB, but he proved a ton this year.    If we’d have had any patience he was the guy to use it on, not Bryce Young.
    • Darnolds OC when he was drafted was Jeremy Bates who was fired. He hasn’t had an nfl job since then. his next head coach was Adam gates who was fired after two years and isn’t in the league anymore. then he gets traded to the Matt Rhule panthers. His first OC was a hired WAY too early Joe Brady who was fired midseason and basically had to restart his career as a get back coach in Buffalo. then it was Jeff Nixon, who’s currently the head coach for Syracuse. the next season was the best he’d ever looked, and it was the first time he had an actual nfl offensive coordinator calling plays for him. The less said about Matt Rhule the better. then he sits a year and ends up in Minnesota and the rest is history. maybe he just had poo awful coaches for the start of his career. Maybe we should be trying to find someone who flamed out on the jets. one who’s a religious weirdo  and likes to bang married women  that’s right baby, Zach Wilson redemption tour starts now
    • Your last paragraph, painful. We suffered it all with Rhule and Fitterer and were rewarded with Bryce.  I’ll stop there, I have made hundreds of posts that say what I would say if I continued. 😂
