Yeah I agree with I don't know what Bonnell actually knows or gets from inside.... I cover athletics at lower level and many of the guys from Observer are not good at getting a scoop or even attend many events or practices... Its pretty sad but whatever. Not going to throw any names out because for most part all are nice guys but it is annoying and insulting to me and others as co-workers and fans.

If what they say is true, I think Charlotte has a chance to land Lance now with Parsons going to Dallas.

 

Still, I bet the reason why Lance is holding out is that he wants Larry Bird and the Pacers to change their mind. Now that Paul George has expressed to Larry how much he wants Lance to stay... I can't see them removing him from their puzzle because he's such an important piece.

Didn't the pacers give CJ Miles 18 mil so their offer is even lower than it originally was

If Rick B was really adamit about the Hornet's interest in Stephenson I do not see why it is being battled by posters here. It may not be the fun decision bc aid love to get a Lance here but totally understand why a team would hesitate offering a huge contract to him.

Rick Bonnell is not one to spread false rumors..and he has little patience for that game.

Rick Bonnell is not one to spread false rumors..and he has little patience for that game.

Nobody says Rick gives false information. When he reports something citing sources, it's legit. The problem is he has spent years trashing the organization and clearly hates his job. He constantly gives his "opinion" on what the team will do, based completely on conjecture with no actual inside info, and it's always negative. He's a prick.

Sheridan was the first known source to announce LeBron to Cleveland. A guy on Twitter broke the news a week ahead of time and had timeline events predicted before they happened, and he was correct 95% of the time for the entire week. Sheridan was following him

      I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.

      Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.

      Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
