Average age of our likely starting lineup

Assuming opening day starters are:

Kemba- 24

Lance- 23

MKG- 20

Marv- 28

Al- 29

The average age of our starting lineup is just 24.8

That is some youth and up and coming talent to look forward to.  Then consider the age of some of our key reserves:

Vonleh- 18

PJ- 21

Zeller- 21

Biyombo- 21

Hendo- 26

Taylor- 25

That is 6 key bench players (some this season some maybe in a couple of years) with an average age of 22 years old!!

I am admittedly leaving some of the older vets on the bench out... but if you only look at just these 11 important guys the average age is 23.2 for those 11 players!!

The only player on the team over 30 is Jannero Pargo.  Roberts is 28 and Neal is 29.

This is a strong young nucleus that in the next 3 or 4 years, if we can keep the key guys together for the most part, could be contenders in the East for a looong time.

The future is bright for this team!!!

We're going to be a likely destination for future big name rind chasing free agents in the coming years if our young players develop. With our assets kd could be an option no matter how small our market

There was a lot of Cho bashing in the beginning of free agency by local fans and there will be always MJ bashing in national media but the truth is that this has been we have done an excellent job building for the future ever since we started the rebuild. After our playoff loss to Orlando, it only really took 3 years to make the playoffs and turn into this young exciting team

We've gotta be one of the 5 youngest teams in the league. And still flirting with being a top 10 team talent-wise.

Jordan knows how to run a business.

He does now that he realizes he needs Cho to put a good team together.

I hope K-Love remains with the Timberwolves and become a free agent next year.  Can you imagine our line up with him in it?

PG- Kemba

SG- Lance

SF- MKG

PF- Love

C- Big Al

Bump Cleveland and Lebron, make your own legacy in the Queen City K-Love. (Don't be King James' footstool)

    • They are 1 and 9 against the  Bucs in the past 10 games. the Panthers go as young goes.  QB1 ‘s are suppose to dictate and overcome  and elevate Everything the QB does affects every part of the team and Bryce is uneven. Canales and Bryce have  an uneven relationship too  as for Evero, the only thing that might save him is the injury to Baker’s left shoulder and oline injuries. I don’t even know how he is out there   I really feel their season ended last Sunday Canales’ division record isn’t great   Getting owned by the Saints and Bucs isn’t a good look
    • Frankly surprised by the amount of people that want to hang Evero. This was a defense that was almost universally considered the bottom of the barrel before this season started. We’ve managed to stat our way to the middle of the pack whatever that means. Those critical of the zone schemes, what do you want? When even JC is getting burnt one on one by Olave you have little choice. There definitely have been moments where the zone blitz stuff has bit us. That said, are the third string linebackers (and nick Scott) covering poo anyway? This unit had only conceded 10 points going into the fourth quarter despite a litany of bullshit penalties on both sides. Them over performing is the biggest reason we are still in playoff contention.
