New Panther Club in Atlanta

Hi all,

I am a die-hard Panther fan that just moved to Atlanta a year ago.  One thing I noticed was that there are a lot of Panther fans living in Atlanta but there aren't any Panther Bars.  My plan is to change that.  My buddy and I decided to create the Panthers GROWL Club with the intentions to get all Atlanta Panther fans together to watch the games.

If anyone is interested, please visit our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/PanthersGrowlClubATL.  I look forward to seeing fellow Panthers Fans this fall!!

*UPDATE* WE HAVE A BAR!!!! I am excited to announce that The Bucket Shop Cafe in Buckhead (across from Lenox Mall) has teamed up with the Panther GROWL Club to be the official Panthers Game Day bar! For those who don't know, The Bucket Shop Cafe is the official Auburn Tigers bar and are excited that they get to support Cam Newton for the 2014-15 season!

I really hope to see everyone there!

Thanks,

Harrison

I haven't yet.  But that is a great idea!  I will look into that as well!  My goal is to have a great group of people that like to hang out and watch the games together so I will take all the suggestions I can get!

Awesome! This is how clubs like Denver and DC got started. There is a group already on Facebook from ATL, but from what I've been able to tell they're not too organized. They try to get people together for games but don't have one designated Panthers bar.

I'd be happy to help if you need it.

Yea I looked into a club here in ATL and I don't believe they are around anymore.  The one bar that claimed to be a Panther bar isn't one anymore.

My objective is to have a bar a little more centrally located to it's convenient for everyone.  I am already seeing some of the support coming my way so I think I can make a really good case to a bar now!

Great! Go for it.

We come down from Charlotte every year with a big group for the game so we will make sure to coordinate getting together.

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
