Jonathan Jones is having a meltdown right now.

So how do you get the information so quickly if you're not stealing his or his colleagues tweets? Do you have teh l33t sources?

I don't even use him as a source.

The closest thing I've ever done is just mention something he probably said. Say JJ tweets "Panthers have signed dingleberg mcnuttking" and I tweet oh wow guys the Panthers just signed dingleberg mcnuttking, I'm stealing his tweets? Because he broke the news I literally cannot talk about that subject? Stealing his tweet would be me copying and pasting word for word what he said, which I would never do.

I think what concerns him and his colleagues is that you try to act as your own little news outlet. You follow most Charlotte sports reporters and seconds after they break news you go ahead and tweet it without giving any credit to where you got the information. They're just looking for a little love. Did Voth just break a huge signing? Instead of posting it like you're breaking the news, just put @blackandbluereview or per Bill Voth. It's really not that difficult.

Why don't you just say "JJ says blah blah blah blah"? Isn't that how twitter works? Mentions? Hashtags? Trending? Unsolicited sex robots? All that stuff.

Quite sure Jonathan Jones is panther related considering he covers the Panthers.

a thread about your twitter beef for "stealing" tweets from the Panthers beat writer has nothing to do with the team though

I don't even follow his colleagues, I don't follow Joe Person. I talk to Bill Voth all the time. if I directly use what someones said I retweet them and make sure to give credit to via blah blah blah.

I'd have to agree...Evidently he's concerned about his Twitter reputation and this ain't the place to cry about it. Seems like the word "meltdown" is a projection.

if you had been giving proper credit there wouldn't have been a thread about this...

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
