Fans can point to Star and Short struggling last year at camp too but by this time Star was returning the favor to Amini and Short at least was impressing with his hands and pass rushing moves. Ealy has been fairly quiet on almost every front. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried considering very little positive things have been uttered about him since arriving (showed at OTAs overweight).

That said, it's training camp and I've been spoiled by Star and Short and Luke and Cam...

Rivera was actually praising kony during OTAs, no need to panic yet, still have hardy/Addison

@BlackBlueReview Red zone: Bersin slant inside on Godfrey, TD.(Now it says Godfrey)

@CarolinaHuddle Chandler at RT in the red zone. Passes off Kony Ealy to Turner who handles him easily.

@JosephPerson White good coverage on Olsen in EZ.(Think he meant RZ)

@jjones9 Brockel drops underneath pass from Blanchard #pantherstc

@SteveReedAP Panthers working a lot of red zone offense. Full contact. Defense clearly getting the beat of the offense.

@jjones9 And Pilares drops inside slant from Blanchard on next play

@jjones9 Colin Jones with nice PBU on hurried Anderson throw #pantherstc

@JosephPerson Drops on back-to-back plays by Brockel and Pilares.

@CarolinaHuddle "@PanthersAlv@CarolinaHuddle what are your thoughts Bersin making the team over mcnutt/king?" Bersin easily beats both of them this year

    • I'm salty every time I see someones mid picks become stars while we throw first and second rounders over and over and they all stink outside of Tet (who still has a lot to prove, imo)
    • There is a contingent that is total Bryce but they weathervane with the wind. When the good Bryce wind blows about once or twice a month we hear a lot from them. But they are always pro Bryce, they just don’t pipe up too much when he sucks. I can’t speak for them, as far as what they are looking at.    In a second contingent, the collective mind is made up. He has had had basically three years worth of starts that might include a top tier outing or two, a few second tier outings, offset by about the same number of bottom tier outings which actually may have the edge there.  The rest of his stuff is third tier and that is going to be the bulk of his starts. We want to move on. And we aren’t getting off of that hill until he puts us off of it. He has not.    There is a third contingent that has no conviction and definitely weather vanes. Bryce is good. Bryce isn’t good. Depending on the latest game. They will buy into 7 on 7 success so that should tell you something.
    • Nacua is really fuging good. He might be a better version of Cooper Kupp.
