Look out Cason

awesome pic...  at least White was on him. dat height and reach is a problem! lol    Thomas was lost in coverage as often. Godfrey was beat a often too.  No need to even mention Norman based on a silent offseason.

Baby Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald is small compared to Benjamin. Hands are the same size, but Benjamin has 2 inches in height and 2 inches in arm length as well as 20+ pounds.

Fitzgerald is a Baby Benjamin.

The more you think about it and see Benjamin's body control, quickness, and ability to separate with his stride he is going to be harder to defend than Fitzgerald.

I love what I'm seeing from KB, but I fear for our secondary and CBs this season. If they can't cover KB as a rookie. Just think what Calvin Johnson and other WRs like him will do to our CBs this season. Our Secondary is an area we need to address next off season and next year draft in the 1st and 2nd round of the draft. But out D will still be beastly tho.

I noticed that as well. A 5-11 receiver probably wouldn't of had that pass.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
