Tiger couldn't walk when his back supposedly went out last week. He had someone else take off his shoes he was so unable to move. Days later, he's fine and will tee it up tomorrow...

... I'm getting used to seeing Tiger's game go south on the weekend and when the shots start going all over the lot, his back suddenly becomes an issue. Is the back causing his game to poo the bed or vice versa?

I can see that someone here has never had back spasms.

They are terrible, almost debilitating, but with some chiropractic care, massages, and rest, they can be gone within a few days.  The issue, is you never know when they are coming back.

I have them, and they are always in the back of your mind every time you do something like swing a club, or pick something up more than 20 or 30 pounds.  I was pressure washing my fence a few weeks ago, was soaking wet and covered in dirt.  Bent over to turn off the washer, and bam.  Took me to the ground and I could barely breathe for a few minutes, and couldn't get into the house for another 20 or so.  Was just laying on the ground in my backyard and couldn't move.

Two days later, I was back on my feet and good except for some tenderness.

That said, I do think that when he is playing badly, the injury talk flows a little more freely, like Roethlisberger.

You called it.

After three putting another green, he suddenly grabs his back again.  Not playing smart at all.  If you do have an issue with your back, why try to hit the driver 500 yds?

Now it is the constant conversation.

I'm watching some highlights on Golf Channel... Rory's swing is so damned impressive.

I don't think anybody touches him this weekend.

Dude just crushes the ball effortlessly. Another Major would make for one hellova year no doubt.

Not ready to crown him yet though, a lot can happen on Saturday and Sunday.

Rory, Fowler, Day all looking good but Michelson and Furyk may have something to say about it.

Those young guys don't want to get beat by their "Dad"..
