Is anyone else upset that this information leaked in the first place?  Wonder if Ronde Barber gets some kind of punishment for giving out this information.

The same reason a lot of bad players are on teams. I mean, Curtis Painter and Jimmy Clausen are still floating around in the NFL. Not a lot of QBs to choose from.

Me personally I think we can win with Anderson, definitely. It just got tiring to hear everyone act like Tampa Bay is some run of the mill team that we will easily dispose of and we shouldn't be concerned about Anderson starting. I think he is capable, but Shula will need to establish a more balanced attack today. And that is what I'm afraid of. It feels like such a long time since we actually imposed our will in the run game on any team.

I'm right there with ya.  I guess my point was with all the negative around DA's career he has had some success.  I think we're in better shape today if he gets the start than if we were talking about Jimmy playing QB today.  DA is a point of concern, but his play in the pre-season has made me a little more comfortable.  (Glass half full)

Our run game will be totally dependant on O-Line play and Stewart being healthy.  I'd just like to see Stew make it a whole game without getting hurt, but I think he's the lynch pin of that group IMHO.  I think if he can get something going it will create openings for our other backs.  I really hope Tolbert runs over someone today.  I love watching him run over people.

lets say hypothetically derek anderson does start and absolutely lights up the tampa bay defense ... I'm talking about staggering numbers in the realm of like 375 yards passing, 5TD's, 0 INT's with kelvin benjamin having 175 of those yards and 3 tds.

No. Unless Newton demands an insane contract I can say that with certainty
