I've been asking for someone to defend Hardy's case, and who else than the Big Cat to answer that call!  Now it's not about defending Hardy just to see him on the field, but for anyone who dares to look at what was presented in Hardy's trial, there's no reason to convict the man.  At least not until after the trial for crying out loud.  Now I personally believe he will be exonerated, but people should let the process play out.  I hope Mr. Richardson convinces the media to actually look at Hardy's case and be patient.

Hardy is not innocent until proven guilty. He's guilty until proven innocent. He's already had his day in court. Now he's simply fighting his conviction.

It's doubtful the trial will happen this season which means the Panthers get away scott free on this one regardless of outcome.

Possible scenario for Hardy is trying to find his pay day with a sizable suspension looming. Even if his conviction gets overturned, he will not find top dollar in this atmosphere.

Meanwhile the Panthers are playing with house money.
