RB Situation

I'm most concerned about Jonathan Stewart. He's looked good enough receiving, but he's been way too inconsistent rushing.

Stewart largely had to make his own holes yesterday.  His second effort made something from nothing.

Tolbert wasn't successful yesterday either. And there's nothing to make me think that D-Will could have done any better.

I don't usually post on here but I was on a flight from Austin tx today and spoke with a guy who sat across from me. Said the Panthers signed him today. His name is Lache Seastrunk. Went to Baylor and was drafted by the redskins

Nice intel, man!  LOL...

I was surprised no one had quoted you or responded to it initially but I found it to be believable because of all of the injuries on Sunday.  I just wanted to wait and see...  I even googled him after reading your post because I know a lot of people here liked him and it only showed that he had tried out with some other teams recently.

What's interesting though is, if he knew he was signed yesterday, but it wasn't reported until today, then I wonder if King had already approached our front office about Jacksonville's offer and then they moved on Seastrunk to fill his space before it all went through.

    • I agree with OP notion, QBs always get credited for game winning drives even if they do minimal. Just last night Caleb got credited for a GE drive when they basically ran the ball the whole drive and only had to go 36 yards.   And there are drives where Bryce could of had a game winning drive if not for a Legette drop vs Philly or a Chubba fumble vs Tampa
    • You are actually, genuinely comparing Bryce to Jimmy fuging Pickles? Jimmy accounted for 3 touchdowns in his 10 starts in 2010. In Bryce’s 10 games post benching last year, he accounted for 20 touchdowns. Jimmy threw three touchdowns in 2010. Three. Bryce has thrown 10 touchdowns through 6 games. He is currently on track to throw for 3300 yards, 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Wtf are we even talking about anymore. I mean seriously
    • Tepper? The guy that directs the coaches towards goals that he set for them… that guy. He is the one.    I don’t think he ever was going to be expelled from class, they had him come in for garbage time maybe the 2nd week he was benched.  I will say this. People said he wasn’t under pressure the last part of the year when he did better, but he was fighting for his career and that’s pressure. And he saved his career too. I don’t reject him for those kinds of things I reject him for the physical things. I have always brought it down to he has slim margin for error and has to be perfect. People with the tool set have a little fatter margin for error. Why make it harder on yourself? Got nothing to do with hating him.  I am no statistician but game that margin thing out a lot and see how that works.
