Man ESPN really pisses me off

For the ten seconds I watched ESPN yesterday, it was Romo and the Cowboys.  How they rebounded from last weeks loss, and how it was emotionally uplifting and all that.

I don't usually watch any of these shows, but the NFL network at least did a decent job showing highlights.

the Cowboys getting to .500 is a big deal....every other week..

imo, espn sportscenter is jam packed with people who know football inside and out, and have informative input...when discussing football on the field. when they give opinions aboout other peoples personal lives, as if their own life depended on getting a certain point made, it doesnt take long for one to realize that to work for espn and make those mega broadcast dollars, you gotta sell out and push the agenda of the people that pay your very large salary...at that point, all credibility goes out the window. some good men got a lot of bills to pay.

Hardy situation isn't going to go away....nor is ESPN talking about it.

They can keep him out indefinitely. He will be back in the lineup shortly.....can't deactivate him until his court date the more I think of it as that would be missing more games than the actual new punishment for the offense

We held the Lions offense to 7 points and it's "nothing to see here". Cam looked good for his 1st game back and it's "whatever man". It's like they wanted/needed us to lose so they could dwell on Cam's injuries and him having 0 WR's back from last year.

I saw a 1 play highlight reel early this morn, Cam's TD pass and that was IT. I'm sure if Cam had struggled n threw 3 picks they would've shown every int and every overthrow in slow-motion.

Oh well, sorry for ruining your Black Panther party ESPN.......p.s. fug you and Cam said "hold mah dick".

What ESPN wanted to happen week 1: "The Bucs looked really good in their victory over Carolina.  They are going to be contenders for the division title this year!"

What actually happened week 1:  "Eh, Panthers win with a back up.  They look a little better than we thought they would be."

What ESPN wanted to happen week 2:  "Man, those Lions are turning into a vaunted offensive team and contenders for a championship.  Impressive victory over that good Carolina defense!  These boys are on a role!"

What actually happened week 2:  "Decent win for Carolina.  Now let's see what they do next week."

Sorry to upset you these past couple of weeks ESPN, heehee!

    • https://www.profootballnetwork.com/patriots-trade-deadline-rumors-5-deals-before-nov-4/ Move 3: Chuba Hubbard, RB, Carolina Panthers Trade Details: > Patriots receive: Chuba Hubbard and 2026 seventh-round pick > Panthers receive: 2026 fourth-round pick New England needs more from their backfield. Rhamondre Stevenson has struggled throughout the season, and while TreVeyon Henderson has flashed, he has not yet earned the trust to be a consistent focal point, lacking proper snaps for a lead back. The Patriots have had to lean on Maye’s arm more heavily than ideal, and adding a runner capable of producing efficient yardage would give the offense better balance.
    • There aren't 32 legitimate starting caliber QBs in the league. Just like when we were starting Bell and Chandler at OT, did that make them legit "starters"? I mean, technically I guess it did since they were indeed starting but they sure as hell weren't starting caliber players. If you have the 30th best starting QB in the league, you desperately need a starting QB and there's likely backups on other rosters better than your starter just like there were better backup OTs on other rosters than Bell and Chandler.
    • Name a QB as bad as Bryce who had their 5th picked up?  You certainly can name better ones who didn't have it picked up.
