Total meltdown on Falcons board

That must have been in locations outside of Atlanta, because they switched me from the Panthers to the Falcan'ts on their opening kick-off.  Had to finish the game and watch Rivera herp derp a win away on my computer.

Thats exactly right.  Our bar had to switch the game to the Sunday Ticket channel when the Falcons game started.

didn't take it that way at all bro... they certainly are crying all day. 5 weeks now and counting. The team, the coach, the fans, the board, are all defeated and I love it... ironically they realize how bad they are and call us "the panties"... that cam hate is deep too. I can't wait for us to go down there and crush them in their house. lol

I had one come up to me yesterday at my desk to basically say he was wrong. And went on going over how bad they are. To which I replied "I told you your defense would be poo and no matter how good that offense can be that's hard to overcome"

That being said our Defense hasn't exactly be world beaters this year.... /sigh

Why do they think they could have had CJ? Hurney signed CJ to a 72 million dollar contract. Should they have payed more? What's with their fans? Yikes.

falcons fans thought he would take a hometown discount to come play for what was supposedly a shoo-in super bowl team over the shitcan 2-14 panties starting over with the second coming of akili smith.  obviously he didn't as we all know.

they had a similar woody for julius peppers in 2009 too.  some loser on that site was going around saying that peppers was openly talking about how he wanted to play for the falcons (which wasn't true obviously) and it took off from there.

    • It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
    • The fact that this is even a discussion is a testament of the level of front office badassery that's going on.
    • Not always. LT was for the Giants. So was Ray Lewis. Von Miller was moreso than Manning his final year in the season that shall not be named. It's usually the QB, but not always.
