Odell Beckham or Brandon Cooks going to be ready to jump at this opportunity.  Benjamin may use this time to separate himself from the pack, too.  NFLN named Watkins ROY @ halfway point.

OBJ is an absolute monster. I watched every snap of his LSU career and wanted him badly in the draft. If he can stay healthy, he'll be one of the top receivers in the league. I think the race comes down between Watkins and OBJ.

KB does not deserve to be in the ROY conversation anymore, unless he plays angry every play like his first td catch last night

 

Agree that he needs to play more aggressive. But what other rookie (RB or WR) is outperforming him? Watkins and Evans are close behind. M.Bryant has the been the recipient of some of Ben's 12 TDs but he isn't Pitts #1 WR. I think Cooks falls into the same category as MB.

 

Still it's been an amazing rookie WR crop this year. Hopefully OT is the stud group next year.

yea he may win by default but the guys you mentioned would be in contention, or the rb from the Browns.

Yeah it sucks we are getting blown out. This was going to be a tough win anyway but we all would have like to have seen a better effort on both sides of the ball.

 

With that said, it would be nice to see Cam feed the ball to KB and pad his stats to help with the OROY race. Kelvin is ahead of any receiver right now. If we can't come back and win, we might as well have something to pull for.

you DO realize it's more about how they contribute to their team's success and not garbage time receptions?  VALUABLE....

I could care less if Benjamin wins or not. He'll easily cross 1,000 yards and 10 TDs just because of his size, athleticism and our lack of depth at WR. I just want him to stop dropping easy passes.

you're a man of good sense. I appreciate this sentiment because I agree. Titles are crap.

But, I wonder if its better for him not to win? He will have a chip on his shoulder. That may help. A guy like Watkins or ODB is a little more humble and passive compared to Mike Evans or Benjamin. Those guys may get votes for that attitude. Plus, ODB plays in Jersey so there is a lot of media attention.
