Yeah our draft class was just SO mediocre, out of 6 picks the only good players we got were Kelvin Benjamin, Trai Turner, Bene Benwikere, Kony Ealy and now possibly Tre Boston LOL If you want to really see what a mediocre draft looks like go look at any of the NFC South teams.

What makes them good? Because some are starting by default? Ealy has done nothing, Turner...do we know how good he is? Boston is good because he's literally active and getting some playing time? 

 

We got a total of one starter out of the draft (not sure how many teams Turner would be starting for). Sorry, that's a mediocre draft coupled with literally the worst free agent class I can ever remember.

And then you have the draft class where the only real contributors are KB and then Turner and Bene when they're healthy.

 

It's almost like if you lose a lot and replace them with dogshit and have a pretty mediocre draft, you're going to have a bad season!

I believe that Obi was a decent pick-up, as well as Velasco.  But we certainly could have done without both of them the way this season is going.  Quality depth for what was paid unlike your first list.

 

Edit: The jury is still out on Norwell. And Joe Webb has been a C+ addition, if not unnecessary.  If he turns out to be our back-up, he is probably worth it.

Ealy has played well both these last two weeks as a DE which generally never do anything their first year, he looks very promising

 

Bene graded out as the 2nd best DB in the league before his injury

 

Turner looks very good, above average starting caliber guard. graded out better than Kalil for much of the year before he was injured

 

KB in the running for OROY despite having a bad game here and there

 

Boston just now getting playing time, no idea on him yet

 

We got at least 4 quality players (possibly 5) out of 6 picks. Our draft was easily top 10 in the league, if you think it's mediocre you are a complete fuging moron

 

Compare this to an ACTUAL mediocre draft, like New Orleans, who got Cooks and literally everyone else has been useless. Their 2nd rounder looks like a complete bust, they traded their 3rd away to move up for Cooks, 4th rounder has already been cut. Rest of the draft is nothing but STers. Literally the guy we picked at 28th overall is better than their entire draft put together.
