Was This a Good Trade?

I was able to trade Ben Tate, Jerick McKinnon, and DeAndre Hopkins for Giovanni Bernard. I'm thinking that it was a steal for me, what you do think? Ben Tate has been horrible and might get replaced soon and Peterson is probably going to play this year and McKinnon would then be irrevelant. Hopkins is the only real loss but I have Gordon coming back in 2 weeks. So, what do you think?

bernard is injured and hill has been great in his absence. who knows how long he'll be out and how fast he'll be thrown into the offense.

tate has been pretty awful and i would get rid of him immediately if possible. mckinnon will be replaced pretty soon as well.

gordon is still two weeks away. those two weeks could make or break your season depending on your record. he also will have been away from football for a decent amount of time... but he is a superstar.

long term i think this could definitely be better for you. short term not so much.

Thanks for the feedback.

Currently, I am 8-1 and have Forte, Morris, Miller, Bernard, and Sankey as my RB's and A. Brown, E. Sanders, Gordon, Holmes, and Kendall Wright as my WR's. I looked at it this way. I am probably going to match (or even better) Hopkins production with Gordon. I essentially get another RB 1 (whenever Bernard gets healthy) in exchange for some RB's that will probably not even have starting jobs in like 3 weeks. I was thinking that in 3 weeks, I would have Bernard, Miller, and Gordon to chose from for my flex weekly which is a lot of fire power if everything goes as planned.

You did really give up much bad, but it's looking like Gio could straight up miss the next couple weeks and if Hill continues to be a beast they could end up in a 50-50 share of carries.

I have Hill so I hope he gets a stronger workload, or at least the one that the Bengals promised at the start of the year because they really didn't utilize him much when Bernard was healthy.

The guy I'm playing this week apparently threw a fit because his team hasn't been doing great this year and benched all of his players against me so while I don't really have to worry about this week I'd like to have Hill getting the ball more down the stretch.

Did you mean I didn't give up much or did you mean I did give up a lot? And even if they end up with a 50-50 split, he will still have more production than Tate and also McKinnon because of Asiata stealing TD's away (not to mention the possibility of AP coming back). I just pray that Bernard doesn't end up being out for the season.

Meant to type "didn't." Yeah Gio should be good if he plays but the only thing really meaningful I think you gave up was Hopkins as a WR3, but if you have others to replace him then you're good.

    • lmao that's a good point; but at the same time I think and HOPE Canales learned from how he operated last year, only giving us one real look against the Bills that had people shouting 'Super Bowl'...only to come out flat.
    • I mean the whole defense was trash, he was at least trying. Besides if you put a all-pro among 10 PSers, that all-world will look human. It's very hard to judge very bad units and find the best players among them. Horn and Mjack played well too, there was 0 pass rush and -1777784 run defense.
    • I was looking back and seen Evan Neal has made the switch to OG after awful years at OT.......I wanted him over Icky for his tricep alone..... I was 100% stroud too, I was super pissed about his record setting and playoff leading start......I had arich vastly over the midget BY too. But right now, BY is about the only one on the up&up. The Texans used lots of prime draft capital to help Stroud.  It's still not ready. But if you're honestly about past drafts, these GMs are not alone in making mistakes.  I still feel they should stayed put and allowed Carter to fall in their lap, but best I know Tepper had the worst rage about landing a QB for the past 5 years. The deal is with the correct coaching staff, Baker or darnold would still be here....Baker has signed 3 years for 100 million, which is a great NFL QB contract. Tepper hiring rhule and his shitty Baylor/temple staff was a massive setback given rhule was in control too. Then panic set in an d fitteerererererer had to make a winner and find a QB. Ugh.....I hope they are back...
