Your the GM, how do you fix this train wreck?

My opinion, Rivera has to go along with Shula. This season is all but lost in my opinion. Start looking now for replacements and get the best available options at the end of the season. We need an offensive minded coach and oc that can build around Cam and take advantage of his strengths. #1 priority should be OL followed by DL and then secondary and wr. This is just the tip if iceberg but would be where I would start. What would everyone else do?

Just keep doing what he is doing for now and hope you hit homeruns with your draft picks.

We don't have the money to spend on retaining guys or signing FAs.

Firing Shula would be a start.  I don't think we should fire Rivera yet.  Want to wait to see how season ends.

But Shula should not have a job by the end of the day tomorrow.  At the very least, give him one more week to do something [productive and if not fire him heading into the bye

-Fire Ron and Shula tomorrow

-Make McDermott or Rodgers the interim

-Let the season play out

-Not sure about what coach I want, but either he or his OC better have a firm grasp of the offensive identity.

-Cut DWill, Cotchery, Decoud, Harper, Cason, Silatolu and Chandler. Keep bell as back up RT. Let hardy walk.

-Get some o-line help in free agency

-Draft some young safeties, receivers and D ends

-Get a return man and some solid special teamers.

Thanks I appreciate that, I really do. If I knew that it was going to be graded by a grammar expert that works at a the dollar store I would have taken the time to correct it.

lol, if you actually think I work at the Dollar Store, you have no idea how to infer from reading. 'Dollar Store Dave' is a reference to Dave Gettleman's cheap spending, and is a phrase/nickname that has been used around here since this off-season.

But, you know, whatever makes you, and your incredible thread creating abilities, feel better at night...

I actually sleep better knowing that there are vigilante Panther fans that scower the forums late at night, looking for any grammatical error, so they can make themselves feel like there smarter than everyone else.

    • I'm not sure that in a fair QB competition that Young would beat out Jones.
    • That's why I said stats aside. I lived in CO during Allen's college career and didn't have kids at the time so I watched most of his games. Bruh, I'm telling you. Balls just spraying all over the place. The type of throws where you're honestly trying to figure out who he was even trying to throw that one too. It was crazy. Richardson was inaccurate in college but at least you could tell who he was trying to throw it too. He threw a lot of early in the game Cam Newton type balls where it seemed like he was just a little too amped up and everything was a few feet high. Richardson's misses looked like they were maybe fixable with working on his footwork, release, etc. Josh Allen's misses looked like "ain't no way you're fixin' that poo, dude has a cannon equipped with no sights". LOL Huge props to the Bills for evaluating him as fixable and indeed fixing him.
    • A lot can change over the next week, but here is my best 53-man roster (note: I'm just basing this on guys on the 90 man roster currently). Obviously there could be trades/ waiver claims/ FA signings.   Offense (25) QB (2): Bryce Young, Andy Dalton RB (3): Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle, Trevor Etienne TE (4): Tommy Tremble, JT Sanders, Mitchell Evans, James Mitchell WR (7): Tetoria McMillan, Xavier Legette, Adam Theilen, Jalen Coker, Hunter Renfrow, Jimmy Horn, Brycen Tremayne  OL (9): Ikem Ekwonu, Damien Lewis, Austin Corbett, Robert Hunt, Taylor Moton, Cade Mays, Chandler Zavala, Brady Christensen, Yosh Nijman    Defense (25) DL (6): Derrick Brown, Bobby Brown, Ashawn Robinson, Tershawn Wharton, Sam Roberts, Cam Jackson OLB (5): DJ Wonnum, Pat Jones, Nic Scourton, Princely Umanmielen, Thomas Incoom  ILB (5): Trevin Wallace, Christian Rozeboom, Krys Barnes, Jon Rattigen, Claudin Cherelus S (4): Trevon Moehrig, Demani Richardson, Lathan Ransom, Nick Scott  CB (5): Jaycee Horn, Mike Jackson, Chau Smith-Wade, Corey Thornton, Shemar Bartholomew    ST (3): LS: JJ Jansen  P: Sam Martin  K: Matthew Wright    Would like to hear everyone's thoughts
