I dont know why shula seems to be the only scapegoat.. cause our defense gets blown the fug up and i here shula sucks 100 to 1 compared to mcderm sucks.

That Shows retard fan herd mentality. Shula! shula! ok he sucks, but what about the majority of our games where we give up 30?

 

My only rebuttal is this.  The D at least shows some flashes of competency.  They gave the offense 2 opportunities to score before the saints and we got 0 points off those turnovers.  The offense gave Philly 17 points off turnovers in the first half alone last Monday.  We definitely have our issues on defense, no doubt, but IMHO until we show some life on offense, it doesn't matter how good or bad our defense is.

this is the only year since rivera/mcdermott has been here that the defense has been bad.  i mean year one it wasn't great, but not this bad.

 

shula's offense has been bad where ever he's been. that's just how he runs it. he's inept.

 

i've been saying this since shula was first suggested as taking chud's place and i have not wavered from that.

 

i have also mentioned (iirc, before he was hired) as the only bright spot to him being hired would be what happens to teams that correct course and take him out of the role of playcaller (ie firing him).

Shula- Decent QB Coach     Bad OC

 

Rivera- Good DC    Average to poor HC

 

Jerry Richardson- Ranks in the bottom half of league owners.
