We had 5 rookies playing very significant time last year too, on one of the best defenses in NFL history no less.  Star, Short, AJ, White, and Lester.

 

Star has been average this year, Short still looks good but has cooled off after a hot start, AJ is up and down but appears to be back on the upswing, White is warming the bench, and Lester has looked horrible this year.

 

All I'm saying is let's hope this year's batch doesn't collectively struggle as much in year 2 as their predecessors... and hopefully that's all it is.  Just a sophomore slump.

 

KB is obviously going to be a good player regardless, and I have a good feeling about Bene too.
