Well the report now says he tore his MCL. So if thats true he is most like done for the season. He could try to play on it but he prob would be very ineffective and could risk more injury. I have to say its just like every other year. We win on we lose one and this looks like the year the injury bug is gonna bite hard.

Where are you getting this report from? I haven't heard it anywhere.

If it's a MCL, he's not done for the season.

Most require surgery that ends there season. It all depends on how bad it is though. If its just a tear then he can play and prob get the surgery in the off season.

Panthers LB Jon Beason's knee injury is "at least an MCL," according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

We're assuming he means the MCL is torn, but we'll have to see. Beason, who was on crutches after the game, said he didn't think the injury was serious because he continued to play a couple of downs afterward. He'll have an MRI on Sunday to determine the severity. The Panthers defense can ill-afford to lose their Pro Bowl middle linebacker
