Matsko has more failures than successes.

That depends on what failure is and what success is to someone.

The way I see it, we have not invested much in the OL since Kalil was a second round pick in 2008.  We have had a swinging door at RG, an injury-prone LG or an older journeyman veteran, and Bell has been forced to start for the past 4 years.  Last year, we were decent up front, if you really consider what he had to work with.  12-4.

This year, we are light Gross, an all-pro LT, Wharton was not asked back, and Hangartner retired.  We drafted 1 lineman and did nothing in free agency.  We are running the ball and protecting the QB with 3 undrafted free agents / 2 rookie starters.  It took him time to get the rookies ready and he needed to get Chandler off the field, but he has done a great job.

What he has done is not failure in my eyes.  Those boys are coached up.

They just have the best DBs in the NFL. You dont coach Cam Chancellor or Sherman, they coach you.

Nope pretty sure they were coached that way. You can hear all of those guys talking about the coaching and how their coaches teach their man coverage differently but looking at the hips and various other techniques. Pete Carroll was a db coach. It's by far Seattle
