Solid analysis.

You're spot on about the gap assignments which is one reason why I think Alexander gets a jersey this week. The ends are going to have to be disciplined and play a contain style defense. Personally, I think the speed of CJ and Alexander gives us the best chance to play contain. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Horton and Addison are the primary back-ups simply due to the fact that they have more speed than Ealy. I actually think Ealy may see time at DT this week to try and get more pressure up the middle.Wilson is one of the better quarterbacks in the league outside the pocket. The key is to make him stand in the pocket and make the pass against our new look secondary.

KK and Dwan need to rest up because they're going to need to get after the QB on Saturday.

Thanks Gang! Like I mentioned in the video…these are essentially the same teams.  The few missed plays here and there in the passing game can't obviously happen in this one.  Having Philly Brown healthy would be huge as he has the short area quickness to give a guy like Richard Sherman trouble

Look it's the self proclaimed czar lol can't stand this dude or his high school football breakdowns of one play.

 

The fact that you 'can't stand' someone you've never met or don't know says a lot about where you are in your life…hopefully you'll find some peace and happiness soon because life is so much better when don't harbor ignorance.

      I'm more impressed with the UDFA that the guys they have drafted in the first the last 2 years. A whole lot of prove it is still needed before any improvement should be talked about seriously.

      While I don't believe its a must win, (we have been better on the road this post season) it is definitely A NEED TO WIN the longer this series goes the more pronounced the Canes advantage on rest and health will be! If we hold serve at home in games 1 and 2 guaranteeing a 6 game minimum series for them if we lose the road games..... by the game 4 and 5 I expect them to be beat they have played A LOT OF HOCKEY the last three years, they have MINIMAL rest off a more physical than one might have expected series vs the leafs.... you know Tampa took their pound of flesh in round 1 from them. Combine all that with the fact that even though this year's canes squad isn't as talented as last years this IS a better squad than the one they swept last time that had McKenzie Mckeathern on line 1 Turbo with a broken hand a banged uo and eventually concussed Slavin (and even though it was a sweep 6 OTS and 4 1 goal losses is hardly dominant)  This year Bob hasn't been superman (hes probably gonna still have a great save percentage agiast us just a side effect of our style) Thatchuk is maybe 50% (3 game winners agiast us) their defense no longer has Gudas and several other downgrades.  While the Canes have a healthy and performing Svechnikov along with other big guys to counteract florida like Carrier, Jankowski, Robinson.   I by know means think it will happen but I either see this as a low scoring dog fight or a series were the canes surprise and end up dominating.
