People got their feathers all ruffled when I called KB a WR2 or 1-2 hybrid earlier in the season. Even at that point, I told them that I didn't think it was a bad thing. Some still whined. The fact is, whether you believe Benjamin is a #1 or #2---or somewhere in between---is really immaterial at the end of the day. We need another WR who is a big play threat, has consistent hands, can complement the offense, and can take over the game. Why would we want anything less?

I mean everyone knows that we need a WR (or two...or three), so why wouldn't we want that WR to be a WR1---whatever the definition?

No feathers ruffled here. I just don't think we NEED a "#1" receiver. If he is there at the pick and he is BPA, pull the trigger. Having a "#1" receiver is a little overrated. Let's just get some guys that can ball! Geez! Haha!

I agree, the "definition" doesn't really matter.  Depends on who you have on the other side really.  If you have a guy like Julio Jones, AJ Green, etc.... KB is a #2.  As long as they compliment each other well, the label doesn't really matter.

Dwayne Harris is going to be an UFA.  He's a great return man, a deep threat, a HELL of a blocking WR, and one of the toughest SOB's over the middle I've ever seen.

We need a speed WR to stretch the field. Corey Brown is a nice player but we need another playmaker at WR.
