Jackson Martinez is class. Porto fuged themselves with such a low buyout for him.

Yup, if you guys end up with a few of these guys that are being rumored Chelsea better watch out.

Wenger quietly rebuild Arsenal D earlier this year by discovering amazing talent of Fracis Coquelin and   Hector Bellerin. He also signed Gabriel who played lights out.  That's why Arsenal went on a winning streak.  The reason Arsenal finished the season with 2 draws is because Giroud ran out of gas.  When Giroud got bench, Arsenal scored 4 goals.  Arsenal needs a striker midfielder/winger and goalie.

They will overpay... Expected to be in £45m range.

No way Real is going to pay 45m pounds for an attacker that is going to be no more than a super sub. Debatable if he's even better than Jese right now. Let alone Isco, James, Bale, CR7.

I don't think it's likely, but I do think it's possible. Sterling is only 20 years old and has a ton of potential. He is Rafa's boy and Rafa could use him well. Maybe not an instant impact guy, but within 2 years. Could ****** him up to prevent him going to Barca.

This is so weird...

So used to losing all the good talent once it's developed. Was half-expecting to open this thread to see something like Barca buying back Sanchez...

Arsenal gambled big time.... They sold their best players to payoff stadium.  Yet somehow they made CL every year... They paid off $1 billion stadium loan with 10% annual interest in 7 years while keeping $250 million cash in reserve in case team missed CL. Insane.

Now Arsenal has zero debt, brand new stadium and about $120 million in transfer fees every year for the next 40 years.

It was absolutely painful to be Arsenal fan from 2005 to 2012.
