what do we do as a franchise? he is too old to really come back from that type of injury, right?

Kemba, MKG, Lance and Zeller are the pieces we have to build off of.

Mo has been stellar but isn't gonna be around forever. Hendo, Marvin and Biz are role players.

Vonleh and PJ are the youngbloods. I'm at a loss. We have to make a big move for someone this offseason.

Frank Kaminsky? Cauley-Stein? anyone, anyone?

Jefferson has been bad this year anyway. We're pretty much locked into this roster next year too, unfortunately. After that everyone comes off the books though. Maybe Cho can swing some kind of trade in the off season. We really need to get a reliable 3 & D guy in to be a full time starter at 2 guard.

Clifford said in his post game conference that Al said he heard something "pop".. not the type of words you want describing an injury

Yeah but with most guys, if it's an Achilles, they're immobile immediately. Calf muscles can tear too, but I don't think that's what happened. Boogie Cousins was taking Al's lunch and he needed a way out.

I'm not convinced Lance has it figured out and if he does he still doesn't fit with the roster. We all complained about Gerald not being able to shoot but Lance is worse. I'm just glad he's in a form that looks tradeable now.

If Al is shut down for the season chances are he will opt in and we only have to deal with him one more year. The target date for the big free agent spending looks to be 2016 and beyond when the cap jumps up.

Keep MKG, Keep Kemba, get bigs that will actually defend the rim and some shooters and quality depth and we will be back in business.

    • After seeing hits in the last two UDFA pools, I do not in this group sorta of a let down after I gassed myself up.  Not like I know of their games, but just expected more. The duke DT only has to beat out hunte (2025 UDFA) or Ray (DL coach's kid) or even Cam Jackson mid 2025 5th.  I thought they would bring in more edges, IOL, TEs, etc...
    • My 2 favorite picks, since you didn't ask? 3. Brazzell II.  A 1000 yard WR with 4.37 speed and checks all the boxes for a Z Wide Receiver.  IN THE THIRD ROUND!!! 5.  Sam Hecht.  I think he will take over as the starter at some point this season and never look back.  IN THE FIFTH ROUND. Runner Up:  2. Hunter:  We were targeting a DT early in this draft because we did very little to replace Robinson in free agency.  Hunter was our guy and he will start. In addition to that, you got a starting tackle that should man one side of the new OL we will build for Bryce's second contract. A starting WR, offensive lineman, defensive lineman and possible Offensive tackle (at some point during this year from this draft will start.  UNREAL. In addition, I don't doubt that Wheatley (5th round) takes the FS job by next year and Lee III is Jackson's replacement in 2027.   Finally, even Kuwatch should be a special teams demon and LB depth.   Last year's draft was so good it was ugly.  This one will turn out to be uglier.  No offense Basbear--this ain't about you.
