Preseason Week 3: Chi vs Den

Bears did alright. It was only Denver but they seemed to be in control of the game throughout what I watched (the first half).

Bears look really good.

Cutler weathered the storm well. If he can get through that he will probably not face any crowd as nasty the rest of the year.

Olsen alone is better than the WR's. Clark's just icing on the cake.

It worked for San Diego for long enough.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Dumerveil (sp?) is a LB

The only negative I took away was pace.

He has always struggled with short guys, said so himself pre-game.

It has gotten worse with age, can't get that pad height correct on them.

I actually think Earl Bennett will be ok.

Err, wait, scratch what I said about only being worried about Pace.

I also felt like the CB and S positions were exposed.

Peanut coming off of back surgery gives me shades of Mike Brown, and what I have seen so far of the secondary is sub-par.

Yeah, I'm interested in seeing how Peanut and Bowman look when they come back... I like Payne at S, but where did Afalava disappear to? Green Bay, week 1, is right around the corner and I'm anxious about rusty CBs facing the Packers WRs.

If those crowds are normally louder towards the Bears players than what the Den fans were, my aplogies to you I guess. I thought they were pretty vocal. More relentlessly vocal than I hear even in some other rivalry games (Philthy-delphia crowd aside).

That damn dome in Minnesota is a nightmare.

Green Bay is loud but not merciless.

I've been to both, Minnesota is the worst.
