This is a big game tonight, we need this win to get even with Boston for the 8th seed.  Boston plays Miami tonight so that will be one to watch to see if Miami can come away with the win to put us above Boston in the playoff race.  Cody is still out, and I am not too sure if we see Al tonight.

I'm worried about MKG. This is the first game with Price gone, and he has passed up multiple jumpers he usually takes. I know how important confidence and belief are for him, and a lot of that came from Price...

His shot hasn't fallen today. Yes he needs to take jumpers but you don't want him becoming Josh Smith on the stat sheet.

All gets back to him being used incorrectly and not being able to drive because of Al.

Kembas regression is REALLY worrisome.

?? Price is sitting on the bench like usual.

Regression? did you expect him to pick up where he left off 8 games back from a knee injury?

I assumed he was already gone... Kind of weird he is still coaching tonight having already accepted the position... I didn't see it until just now. Still, I worry about the mental effect of knowing he's leaving on MKG.

    • I encourage you to go back and watch his college play. Notice how he immediately backpedals to 10 yards behind the LOS on almost every snap. You can't do that in the NFL. Your OTs have no chance of keeping those freak show edge rushers off of you. You can't create a pocket that deep. Bryce can chuck it when he has an airport runway in front of him to step up into. There's a reason why "ease of creating velocity" is such a talking point evaluating QBs. It's not how hard or how far you can throw the ball given a perfect situation. It's how hard and how far you can throw the ball in a typical NFL game situation and that's where a lot of my concerns with Bryce were going into the draft. There were way too many plays in his college tape that if you were watching that purely in terms of translating it to the NFL it just didn't work.
    • Yeah, like I said I get it. From a revenue perspective I'm not a good customer for them. They've probably intentionally tanked offline franchise mode to try to get people online. Again, not a terrible strategy from a pure business perspective. I can't really be mad at them for doing what's good for business but yeah, from my perspective it still sucks.
    • Ok let me be more specific. Smith was a stud before Newton got here do you not agree? Yes, LaFell improved under Cam but then had his best years after leaving the Panthers with Cam as the QB and going to NE. So he improved playing with someone else. Olsen was in Chicage the year before Cam arrived and statistically had the same numbers his first year with Cam.  Hope that's clearer for you.
