My takeaways:

Balor's entrance and paint are just amazing

Surprised how good Corbin v Rhyno was, but I had pretty low expectations going into it.

Bayley is the best because she is Bayley. Ric Flair strut with Charlotte was adorable

Enzo and Cass got screwed bahgahd!!!

Sasha Banks v Becky Lynch was the match of the night by alot. 5* match.

Main Event was good, ending was pretty awesome. Nice to see Zayn open up a can of whoop ass. Owens wearing a "The champ is here" shirt cracked me up.

Good show overall. Women stole the show

If you are over the age of 12 and watch professional wrestling then I now understand why you would support raising the minimum wage.....that is probably your only hope in life.

Cool. Thanks for posting!!

I dvrd Raw last night but found it to be very terrible. Is there anything going currently that's similar to ECW with decently long and actually good matches?

NXT is pretty damn good.  Unfortunately you can only watch it on the WWE Network, but it is almost worth the 9.99 per month by itself.

Their last big show they gave Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks nearly 30 minutes and they tore the house down in a match that might be match of the year.  So even their women get good time, and perform at a high level.

I just got back into wrestling after pretty much ignoring it for 10 years but New Japan, Lucha Underground, and ROH are pretty popular, I haven't seen much of any of them.

Raw last night was not that great.  They had a couple of good RAWs in a row till last night.  RAW is 3 hours now, it is almost impossible to keep interest for a viewer or the fans at the arena.  Makes for too much crap.  A 2 hour show is the way to go, but advertisement money and all.

Also, it is like any soap opera you have to watch a couple episodes to get caught up and then it gets slightly better

    • What's wrong with Damien Lewis? He played pretty well last year.
    • Official NFL Cuts Tracker Deadline for roster cuts is Tuesday, August 26th. At this moment (Friday, August 22nd) the only interesting names I see are... K Caden Davis (BUF) RB Ameer Abdullah (SF) WR Equanimeous St. Brown (SF) WR Donovan Peoples-Jones (NO) LB Khaleke Hudson (TEN) Abdullah, St. Brown, Peoples-Jones I don't exactly think we should cut anybody for but it was just interesting seeing those names. Khaleke Hudson was on the Panthers' practice squad last year I believe and might have even gotten called up? And of course, Caden Davis just because of the question mark at kicker this season for the team.
    • I'll say 6/10. I don't know that we learned a whole lot about this team during preseason that we didn't already know. We didn't play the starters enough to really get a feel for what to expect. We had one good drive against the Browns, one 3-and-out and two 3-and-outs against the Texans. That's an extremely small sample size across 3 games regardless of performance. My camp/preseason takeaways: Jalen Coker might be the best WR on this team and is certainly no worse than #2. Nic Scourton is going to be a good player for us. Possibly very good. Bobby Brown was our best free agent addition. Jack Plummer isn't an NFL QB. Not even a practice squad guy. Having anyone other than Canales and Evero call plays was a really stupid and pointless idea. Our depth is largely non-existent, especially on defense. The three areas we actually DO have depth are on the OL, in the WR corp. and at RB. I can't fathom why Dan Morgan didn't do more to upgrade ILB during the offseason. We better hope Lathan Ransom steps up at FS because if he doesn't we have a massive hole. For all the hype surrounding Sanders/Evans, Tommy Tremble is still the best TE on the roster. I'm only slightly less enthusiastic going into the regular season than I was a month ago. I think our starters on offense are solid and we should be pretty good there unless Bryce totally regresses. On defense, we're probably bottom 3rd in the league if 100% healthy and significantly worse than that if injuries become an issue. We badly need at least two of our rookies to become high-level players early (ideally one of the pass rushers + Ransom) and at least 2 of our free agent additions (ideally Moehrig + Bobby Brown) to be significant upgrades over last year. Call me pessimistically optimistic 😆
