He's an unemployed defensive tackle that was better than Hayden and Favorite and played for us last year.

I wonder why we haven't gone after him and we've gone after this Leonard guy and possibly Boone instead. Anyone have any ideas?

well unless leoonard ends up being a better contributor but idk who would cost more between him and walker .. maybe we just wanted to try 2 new names just to check it out .. possiblity of us resigning him isn't out of the question though but im sure itll be after the initial 2 are considered garbage in our system

we could always sign up walker (or some other vet thats just sittin around) after the 1st week, and his contract wouldn't be quarenteed for the season.

Same reason no one else is calling him. He was injured last season and we already no what he is. That's why Corvey and Hayden are here they are him but younger.

I think that injury was pretty severe. For all we know, he may have a hard time passing a physical or his risk of re-injury is good which is why everybody has ignored him.

Walker's a possibility, but I tend to think if they were going to call him, it would have been sooner than this.

I do still think one more DT pickup could be coming, but it's likely coming from another team via cut or conceivably trade.

(trade being less likely at this point unless it's a player trade)
