Chicago pizza in CLT

I've searched but never found legitimate Chicago-style pizza in the Charlotte area. Does it exist? I can't get down on that pussy NY style pizza.

none that i know of.  pizza around here isn't that good.  matt's chicago dog might be your best bet.

Just have them shipped from Chicago. I mean, you're not going to get a real deep dish pizza here. We've had them shipped down before and they didn't taste that much different from having them fresh in the restaurant. 

I personally enjoy the pussy pizza at Portofino's. They're from Naples, Italy...you know, the birthplace of pizza.
