Eugene Robinson on Cam Newton

Mick got a bit of a rough reception when he was hired because Panther fans liked Bill Rosinski and were pissed when he was let go.

From what I've heard and read though, if the choice were up to the people that have to actually work with the radio crew, few if any would choose Rosinski over Mixon. Mick's said to be a  generally nice guy while Rosinski had a rep for being something of an a--hole.

True? No idea, but tthat's the talk.

As far as on-air though, I think Mick, Eugene and Jim Szoke work very well together. I'm happy with them as the voices of Panthers radio. 

Oh ok that's interesting. Honestly,I only know Mick from the Panthers Huddle weekly tv show. As far as the games, I'm either at the games or watching the TV broadcast with their announcers.

Rosinski was the play by play guy during the Panthers Super Bowl run.

Thats where a lot of his best moments came from.

OK I totally missed out on that. Maybe I'll try muting the TV and listening to the radio broadcast for a game or 2 this year.

I like Eugene.  Not so thrilled with Mick, although that could be because of my bias against his former employers.  Don't know how Rosinski was to work with, but I thought he did an excellent job on the Radio.

Alas. Only if Panther/Cam Critics (in the media, or fans), actually watched the Panthers, or Cam play.
