Yeah you're right... Julius Peppers, Greg Ellis, Jeff Saturday, Dre Bly, Alge Crumpler, Kevin Donnalley, Ebenezer Ekuban, Madison Hedgecock, Vonnie Holliday, Natrone Means, Willie Parker, not to mention HOF Lawrence Taylor.

What scrubs those bastards are...

If you look at it, the real deficiency in the ACC compared to the SEC seems to be on offense.

Watched three ACC games this weekend, two of them against SEC teams, and piss poor offensive play was the problem in all three games. NCSU scored three points while Wake had four offensive turnovers. VT's defense was every bit as good as Bama, but their offense looked out of its league most of the night.

Dang maybe I should read more often Monstercat already pointed this out.

Eh...it probably had more juice coming from you anyway.

For the record though, the ACC has produced as many or more 1st round picks in recent years as any conference in the country. The difference between the ACC and SEC, is that the SEC has more talent up and down the roster, wheras the ACC teams usually have 1 or 2 studs and the talent level falls off when you look further down the roster. I'm hoping Butch Davis will change that as far as the Tar Heels go though.

BTW, this FSU vs Miami game is pretty darn good. FSU is gonna be tough to beat this year.

Great points DD. You're absolutely right... I was thinking this exact thing watching the VT/Alabama game. Both teams were going up and down the field and the defense's were lucky to get any stops. But, as the game went on, Alabama's offense just wore them down, b/c they had too much of it.
