I haven't been to this movie theater in about 12 years but got some good memories.... in a theater and on parking lot behind it.  This theater helped a lot of broke students get laid.  Respect.

I saw Super Troopers in this theater. There was a very strong incense in the theater that day and the snozberries did taste like snozberries.

Not surprised really, it's been struggling for awhile now.

I got some dome there though.

I worked there 14 years ago...  I started movies upstairs...  Boy, do I have some stories.

Last movie I saw there was American Pie.  Laughed my ass off, had a great time.  Hopefully some investor will come in and turn it around.

cant believe it stayed open this long, have not been in years but when I lived over there these theaters were usually dirty, trash everywhere, the picture and sound were second rate and the movies were not first run, and stopped there briefly on the way to DVD a few weeks later.

But I guess it was cheap date night thing like you all are talking about and good for that

When did you lived there?  

Just wondering if i'm the asshole that stopped movies briefly.  I worked there when I was in high school and I was in charge of projection booth...  My ex would always come up upstairs and I had to feed film thru within like 20 seconds (cause all movies started about the same time) and she always bagged me...  I fuged up film from time to time...  If I put film just tiny bit sideways, it would get jammed and burned... I'd have to open machine,  cut 10-15 feet of burned film, reattach film together, feed back thru machine and restart it.  Good times.

no i meant the movies stopped to play there just before they went to DVD, I can't recall a reel not starting up on time there.

oh I started reels on time... It would jam 10 minutes into the movie sometimes... Customers were like "I want a refund on my 50 cents" lol

i remember we received a porn movie once and they told us it was R rated... We played a movie for the whole week before we realized it was a porn movie lol.
