I've been checking my phone more than I do during the playoffs in 3 fantasy leagues.

My wife thinks I've something on the side I guess.

Btw- appreciate all you guys adding info on here .

Well the good news is that the final cuts should be posted within the next 10 - 20 minutes since the deadline is 4 p.m. Eastern.  So not much longer to wait!

Nice. If I have to put money on it, Corey makes the 53.

Could be, especially if info about Miley heading to short-term IR is incorrect.

But, the question is even if he makes it today, will he STILL be there in a few days once we've looked through other teams' cuts?  Igo seems pretty convinced another transaction is in the works.

So, Corey Brown IS safe for now because Miley is sent to IR, not short-term IR

A few more tweets of interest

Black & Blue Review @BlackBlueReview 13m13 minutes ago

Brian Folkerts waived with an injury settlement. While Remmers and Scott are backups, still could see #Panthers shop for backup C.

Bryan Strickland @PanthersBryan 13m13 minutes ago

Most difficult cuts in my six seasons with team, which should bode well.

Steve Reed @SteveReedAP 13m13 minutes ago

All five draft picks made the Panthers roster, and so did two undrafted rookies - RB Brandon Wegher and S Dean Marlowe

Essentially no major surprise cuts by the Panthers. Top names would be Bersin, Todman and Trusnik.

Joe Person @josephperson 9m9 minutes ago

#Panthers 5 WRs (for now) -- Cotchery, Ginn, Funchess, Norwood, Corey Brown. I think this could change by end of the weekend.

Undrafted DE Arthur Miley (knee) goes on regular IR. My earlier tweet was wrong. Fling your online arrows this way.

    • I mean, I think you're being a little hyperbolic with the last statement, but point taken.
    • Pass rush was the biggest issue in tonight’s game, and we were tied for 28th in sacks this season. That is a major area of need that has to get addressed this offseason. I just don’t see a path where there’s a game changing QB you can bring in with where we are drafting and quality of veterans that will be available. We certainly can do better than Dalton as a backup, and should ideally have a developmental guy  (perhaps a day 3 pick this year). We have bryce for one more year on a reasonable contract and then I think 2027 is the year that you reset that position (unless he massively improves).
    • Agreed, honestly basically bringing this group back as a healthy unit would be alright.  Brady Christensen should be resigned to a very reasonable deal with him recovering from the Achilles.  Atleast we're alright at 4 of our 5 spots with Lewis, Mays, Hunt, and Moton, Nijman was decent.  While if we can snag a deal on someone, take a stab, however our resources need to go to Linebacker, Pass Rush and a real option outside Tmac (coker is amazing, but if we can get someone who isnt braindead opposite Tmac, we can fully unleash Coker AND Tmacs full potential, cant move him into the slot if racoon boy is out there licking doorknobs).
