Hornets win 1st Preseason Game

Good first win for the Hornets! I loved all of our new players. We finally have depth! I was very impressed with Lin and Lamb. Batum fit in really well as well. Kemba shot terribly in the 1st half but played better in the 3rd. Sucks that MKG got injured. Seemed like a fluke play but those plays seem to happen with him. Frank K got on the court in the 4th and played pretty well. Love his outside shot. NBA is back and so are our Hornets!!

Knowing his injury history, wouldn't they have put a clause in the contract to protect themselves?

Didn't actually see the game but the final box score and individual stats told the story.. Kaminsky, 7 pts, 1 block in 9 minutes of play, not bad at all. Also seems Lamb, Lin and Batum did nicely

It was a slow start, but I really like what Lin and Batum did, really hope MKG is okay.  Excited to watch tomorrow against the Heat.

7 pts in 9 mins for Tank isn't bad at all, extrapolate that and if he played a full 28 minutes in a game he would have been on pace for roughly 21 pts.

And MKG has a dislocated shoulder according to the Hornets Facebook Page.  Web MD says recovery for a dislocated shoulder should take 3-12 weeks.

Dislocated shoulders suck and all, but why on earth would he need to be taken away on a stretcher for it?

I saw something that said if he tore any muscle he would be out for the season.

The sheer luck this franchise has had since it began is incredible.
